Visitors!

Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen showed up last week for a visit!  I got to stay home from school on Friday with them while Mom and Dad went to work.  It was great because they brought me back the car they gave me for Christmas - I was just as happy to see the car as I was Grandma and Grandpa!

I love Grandma but this visit Grandpa was my buddy!  He pushed me around in my car, we had snacks, we wrestled and we did some puzzles!

On Saturday I got to hang out with both of my grandpas!

And both of my grandmas!  It was fun to have everyone together!

New Shades!

I'm heading to the beach in a couple of weeks so I've started getting all the gear I need!  I got a new swimsuit and baseball hat in the mail today.  But neither of those could compare to these awesome new sunglasses I got!  I didn't want to take them off - I looked so cool!

St Patty's Day!

This year we did the same thing for St Patty's Day that we did last year!  We went to the festival in Smyrna Market Village.  Only this year, I didn't sleep all the way through it!  One year ago, this was also the last weekend before Mom went back to work and I started school!  Time flies when you're living the good life like me!

Like I said, I kind of slept through most of it in 2013...

Not in 2014 though...

I got my own beads and a fun hat plus some green beer (water) in my (green) sippy cup!

At school we all wore our green on Monday!

14 Months Old!

I almost forgot to let everyone know I turned 14 months old!  The thing I'm most proud of last month is being able to help throw away trash.  Tissues, diapers, bags - you just let me know and I'm more than happy to help out by throwing it away!

When I turned 14 months I didn't know how much I weigh, but now I do because I had to go to the doctor last week...  I weighed 24 lbs 3 oz - getting close to tripling my birth weight!  And unfortunately it wasn't a fun trip to the doctor.  Dad was out of town all last week and Mom had to pick me up a little early from daycare because my eye looked funny.  Well the doctor confirmed in the morning that I had pink eye plus a double ear infection!  So I got to stay home from school and spend the day with Mom.  Luckily my ears really only hurt at night so during the day I'm my normal self, just wanting to play.  I got to go back to school late the next morning though and I'm on the road to recovery...

Yay for Green!

At school I've been learning about the color green.  I already know about that color though since my bedroom is green!  We had some green eggs one day (for Dr. Seuss' birthday) and green water another.  Since I'm still working on the whole drinking from a regular cup thing, the green water wasn't the best idea and it took 2 days to get all of the food coloring off me!  On Monday all my friends and I are going to be wearing green for St Patty's Day!

Weekend Fun!

I had a pretty fun weekend and got to spend some time outside in the sun!  I also started a new school on Saturday.  But Mom and Dad come with me, it's only on Saturdays, I'm only there for 45 minutes, and we sing songs and play with instruments the whole time.  Not too bad!  Mom and Dad said that since they I didn't get any musical genes it won't hurt to try learning early!

Got to climb on my chair with a lettuce spinner basket on my head - who doesn't like to do that?

Got to take all the tupperware out of the cabinet.  I was just getting started with the lids first.

Got to try a Chick-fil-A milkshake!  How have I been missing out on these?

Got to practice building a tower with my legos - takes a lot of concentration!

Farm Day!

I've been studying farm animals at school and last week we had our big test.  We all had to dress up in farm attire.  Everyone passed the test!

Trash Anyone?

If you've got trash, I'm more than happy to put it in the garbage for you!  You can bet Mom and Dad are going to be keeping tabs on the contents of the trashcan a little closer from now on...

I'm becoming a little helper around the house now because I throw away things when Mom and Dad ask me to!

Sunny Days!

We've had some really nice days lately and I've been able to get outside and enjoy our deck!  It definitely ended up being a good thing that they added in the gate at the deck stairs!

I was getting ready to take my  poppers outside.  Why just one when you can take two?

Sometimes I just don't understand why Mom has to take so many pictures!

It was so sunny last weekend that I had to get a hat!  It's a little big but it worked!
