Halloween!

Halloween is a holiday I don't quite get.  People dress up in funny looking clothes - some of them scary - and go around ringing doorbells.  Mom had a costume for me, but there was no way I was putting it on, even though it was a tiger.  I did go to two houses to ring the doorbell and I got candy - that was pretty fun.  Even though I don't think I got to eat any of it now that I think about it...  Mom and I had practiced saying Trick-or-Treat, but I was a little shy so didn't try that out.  Maybe next year...

I had just as much fun wearing my regular clothes and playing ring around the rosy with our neighbors and with Grandpa.

Pumpkins make great seats!  And sometimes it's just fun to take your pants down - even if you are outside in October!

The best part of the weekend was that Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen came to visit!  It was a really cold weekend, but on Monday I got to stay home from school with them and the weather warmed up a little bit so we could play outside.

I had a fun time with Grandpa - of course we spent some time wrestling!  And he got a me a fun new toy with Thomas the Train!

Here I am swinging in the warmer weather!  And what is better than an ice cream treat after a day of playing outside?!

Here are two videos showing some of the fun I had!  The first is me climbing a wall at the playground.  I did it over and over!  The second is Grandma and I having some fun together!

Pumpkin Time!

In October, I got to pick out our pumpkins for Halloween!  I picked 1 big one and 2 little ones!

I found the one I liked!  It made a good seat to rest on.  I even helped get it into the stroller.

I wish we could have taken all of the pumpkins home!  But we were helping out a lady who needed to buy a bunch of little ones for her class.  I was a good helper though!

Being Silly!

Sometimes it's just fun to be silly!

One weekend Dad got his old tractor out for me to play on - I felt pretty special!  It didn't last long though - I kept getting frustrated because my legs are too short for the pedals and Dad got tired of pushing me around.

So I went back to my Batman car.  But as you can tell, I'm pretty comfortable minus my clothes these days!  Everyday after school, I come home, take my shoes off, and then take my pants off - so much more comfortable!  For the record, the diaper usually stays on...

Mom was quick one day and caught a picture of my smile!

And sometimes when business calls, you have to take it - even when you're in your PJs trying to clean everything out from the bathroom cabinet!

Not sure why my sunglasses (or "eyes" as I call them) are on here.  I wasn't being silly - I had just put on my eyes to keep the sun out of my actual eyes.  They worked just fine!

One morning Paul and I had a heart to heart about how he always tries to steal my breakfast biscuit.  It didn't work...

Sleepy Time!

If I'm up and able to move around, you can bet that I'm not going to be sleeping!  But once you get me to sit still, most likely I'm out like a light!  That includes my high chair, car seat, you name it!  But not necessarily my bed - that takes a little more work!

Sometimes cuddled up with Mom is the best place and then other times however you end up works too!

Can't beat a cat nap in a porch swing!  And if I happen to fall asleep in the stroller I tend to get left there!

Don't let this one fool you!  I was just playing around and pretending!

Zoo Date!

The other weekend Mom and I went to the zoo and met up with my school friend Emmaline and her mom.  I can say all of the names at my friends at school now.  Emmaline is kind of tough so I just call her Emme.  But I like to say bye to Connor, Ward, Tyler, Devin, Webber, etc.  And it's all boys in the class right now, except for Emmaline!  And my name is "Onen" if you ask me - close enough!

The petting zoo has some new baby goats now so they are more my size.  It's was Emmaline's first time to the petting zoo so I had to show her the ropes with brushing the goats.

There was a party going on with music and bubbles for Halloween so I got into it with a little hula-hooping!  Emmaline didn't have a stroller with her and she got jealous of my ride so we shared!

This was one of the highlights of the trip!  The tiger walked right towards us!  I made sure everyone knows that a tiger says "Go Tigers!"

New Foods!

Maybe you thought there was going to be pictures of me eating chicken or mac &cheese, but I fooled you!  My normal meal rotation (at home) still includes quesadilla, PB&J, hot dog and grilled cheese.  And of course fruit!  But I have expanded a tiny bit...

I like apples and I even eat them like a big boy!  Pears are good too, but they look like apples to me...

Grandpa Young makes a good protein shake (chocolate of course)!

Here I am eating some cereal for breakfast (this is a first to venture away from waffles and fruit).  That spoon is a tricky thing!
