Clemson Basketball!

Go Tigers!  I got to cheer for the Tigers again when Dad and I went to Clemson for a basketball game.  We went with the same people that we hang out with for football games, but I got to make a few new friends.  The game was exciting - it went into overtime (or at least that's what Dad said - I wasn't really paying much attention to the game...)

Before the game, Dad and I went shopping.  I picked out my very own Clemson hat so now I can be just like Dad!

Dad and I had a fun time at the game!  I was definitely tired at the end of it though...the two hour ride home was perfect for a nap!

Dad's friends are silly!

Just Mom and Owen!

The other weekend Mom and I had a day out together and went to the zoo.  It was such nice weather that I didn't even have to wear my jacket!

This time at the zoo, I was able to tell Mom the animals I wanted to see.  I wanted to see the lion the most on this trip.  After that, we got to see a gorilla that was really close to the window!  I also really wanted to see the kangaroos - it was still too early for them though and most of them were sleeping in the sun...

We also went to the petting zoo and rode the choo choo!

I've been on a carousal before but this was my first time on the one at the zoo.  I only got to ride one time so of course I picked the tiger!

My Sister and I!

So far I really like having my little sister here.  I like to hold her, rub her head and tickle her.  Sometimes when I'm trying to love on her, Mom and Dad have to remind me to be gentle! If she's crying I try to help by giving her a pacifier or turning on her bouncy seat.  I always say goodbye and good night to her!  Pretty sure she likes me too...

Now when I hold her I ask for a picture of us, so we have lots!  And of course Mom and Dad don't complain about having to take a picture of the two of us together...

Mom said this is one of her recent favorites!

Sometimes it's just nice to relax together...

I like to get down on Clara's level sometimes and help her with her tummy time...

Sometimes Mom (and George) get in on the pictures!

Awesome Grandparents Part 2!

Like I said, Clara and I have the best grandparents!  Shortly after Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen went home, Dad had to go on a work trip for a couple of nights.  So Grandma and Grandpa Young came to stay at our house.  I could always count on Grandpa Mark to be up early with me!  And he made me "coffee" everyday which was quite a treat (apparently the coffee I drink is different than what he drinks - mine is milk and fruit blended together into a smoothie - my coffee is way better!)  Grandma and I played with my trucks (this is when I started building my "gates") and she brought some new books to read!

We all went to lunch one Saturday and got a group shot - Grandma did pretty good because I was being silly and was just about to fall backwards in this picture.  I was being silly another day when I wanted to be held like Clara!

Here's Grandpa Mark with Clara and I!  Apparently I need to do better at asking for pictures with Grandma since I don't have any recent ones...

The day Dad came home from his trip, it got really cold and snowed.  So Grandma and Grandpa took me home with them.  I'm glad they did because I got to go sledding!  I even wore my winter coat plus my hat and mittens - that's how much I wanted to go outside.  I was up early the next morning with Grandpa so we could shovel any remaining snow away!  I can't wait until I'm bigger and it snows again so I can do down the big hill all by myself!

Awesome Grandparents Part 1!

Clara and I have some pretty great grandparents that love us so much!  Grandpa Mike and Grandma (our Hermansen grandparents) came to our house right after Clara was born. Grandpa Mike stayed for a few days and then came back for a few more, but Grandma stayed at our house for almost a month!  It was lots of fun to have her here.  Every morning, I would go down and and try to sneak up on her and say "Boo"!  I can't wait to see them again!
Here I am with Grandma!

Grandma helped with my bath time and bedtime, but she also gave George a bath when I was at school one day.  He needed it!

I did some relaxing with Grandpa Mike, but it was more fun to play!   We played with my cars, bowled and wrestled.

When it was nice out one day, Grandpa Mike took me to the park to play!  I rode in the swing, climbed and went down the slide!

Here's both Clara and I with Grandma and Grandpa!

While Grandma and Grandpa were here, we went to the Atlanta Children's Museum!  I got to sit on a tractor, play with blocks, fish and dig in the sand!  We even got to each lunch there - Grandma learned the hard way that I like french fries after I ate all of hers!

When it was time for Grandma and Grandpa to go home, we had to have several group hugs to say goodbye!  Of course Clara had to be in the group hug, too!
