Daddy Jungle Gym!

Who needs a park or backyard play set when you have a Dad like we have?  It's hard for me to play with him by myself though because Clara doesn't just sit by and watch!

A Week with Grandparents!

Mom and Dad left Clara and I for a whole week while they went sailing on a big boat.  But it was okay because Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike came to stay with us!  We had a great time even though they had to help both Clara and I get better from pink eye and ear infections.  

Of course it didn't take too long for Clara to become good buddies with Grandma Pam!

Grandpa Mike took a little longer but then she figured out he was a very good snuggle buddy!

One morning we got a surprise and got to go to IHOP for breakfast! 

Clara spent the week doing her thing...basically having fun with whatever happens to be around! 

She had fun playing with Grandpa or by herself...

I did my thing during the week, too... Grandpa and I took a trip to the zoo one day and had ice cream treats another day.

We also took a trip to Toys R Us to return something...amazingly we both walked out with a new toy!  Not sure how that happened...

We had lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa but we were pretty excited when Mom and Dad got home!

What else to do, but celebrate with a dance party in sunglasses...

Unfortunately the day after Mom and Dad came home, Grandma and Grandpa had to go back to Iowa.  We were both sad to see them go.  We'll be ready for Mom and Dad to take another trip in a couple of weeks!

Dinnertime!

Dinnertime is always an adventure at our house these days!  Clara and I sit next to each other at the table and tend to create quite a distraction!  But we still manage to eat our food for the most part - lots of "happy plates" at the end of dinner.  We need to eat our food to get big and strong!

Clara loves bananas!  She would eat 5 a day if Mom and Dad let her! 

Chicken burritos are another favorite of Clara's!

Mom and Dad even got us our own kitchen so we could help with dinner!

Happy Easter!

We had a fun (and busy) Easter this year!  First we went to a giant egg hunt (like we did last year).  This year we didn't hang around for the helicopter though - it ended up being a little cold and rainy.  But we still had fun running around the football field and this year Clara could join in!

Some action shots with the football - our friends Landon and Dylan showed up at the egg hunt so we got to play with them, too!

Clara looked very pretty in her Easter dress even though it was just a little too chilly for it!

Grandma B and Grandpa Mark met us there to have some fun!

Had to take a quick rest in the big "O"!  And Dad helped me get lots of candy from the eggs when it was time!

On Easter, the Easter Bunny had stopped at our house!  I am an excellent Easter egg finder.  I might lose my shoes 2 feet away from me, but I can spot an Easter egg from the next room!  Maybe it's my nose for candy that helps...  Later in the day, we went over to the Palmer's house for an Easter dinner.  We had fun playing with our friends!

Relax Time!

Believe it or not, there are times where Clara and I do stop moving and talking to relax!

On weekends, I don't think Daddy minds laying with me while I fall asleep for my nap!

When I play at Davis and Ollie's house, we sometimes end the day by getting cozy with a movie!

I can count on George to snuggle with me after building a pillow pile!

After nap, Clara and I like to wake up slowly.  Takes us a minute to get to full speed ahead!

St Patty's Day!

We didn't do much at home to celebrate St Patty's Day but we had a party at school!

Here was our parade group - a couple of our teachers and some of the parents joined us!

Here I am with Mr. Roland.  He's Laura's dad and all of the girls in the class are a big fan of his!  Laura is on his lap too and Ridley is in front of him. 

I perked up once I got to get out of the bye bye buggy and play on the playground!

Porch Fun!

As the weather has started getting warmer, we have definitely been enjoying our new porch!

Sometimes it's just fun to sit in the doorway and watch Owen!

Grandma B and Grandpa Mark's porch can be relaxing too! 

Our visits over there aren't relaxing for everyone though...
