Zoo Trip!
On Mother's Day, Mom wanted to take a trip to the zoo with us! It was way too busy there, but we had fun anyway and got to do all of our favorite things!
But before we left for the zoo, we got to play with Grandma B for a little bit because she spent the night at our house!
We each took a turn feeding the giraffes! They have long tongues! Clara was a little scared so Mom had to feed the giraffe for her.
I needed a break so hopped a ride on the stroller with Clara!
Of course we rode the train! Since I sat in front of Clara, I got to do what I do best - make her laugh!
We each posed with Mom for a Mother's Day selfie!
I got to be a bus driver at the playground...
When we got home, we went down the street for a neighborhood party. Clara and I took a break to enjoy some grapes!

Porch Fun!
We are still enjoying our screened in porch! Although we'd rather just play on the porch furniture... Mom loves that!
I got to help Owen get the cushions set up just right. Then we had our steps to climb on!
And then it was time for a nap...
Sometimes I like to just watch what's going on in the backyard (and especially the dogs next door)...
Owen got a surprise one night when Daddy took him "camping" in the backyard. They didn't just sleep on the porch - they slept in a tent in the yard! All night long - and it ended up getting cold that night! Mom and I were snuggled up in our beds inside!

Swim Lessons!
I started taking swim lessons this summer! My friend Emmaline is taking lessons with me. It's just us and Coach Hannah. I wasn't so sure at first but Emmaline got right in the pool at the first lesson so I did too. Since then I've been doing great at my lessons. I've learned how to do "frog bites" (going underwater and then coming back up), float on my back and roll over from a frog bite to my back. No Olympics for me just yet but I'm getting more comfortable in the water!
Here I am at my first lesson! Of course I wore my Paw Patrol swim suit!
And Mom snuck this picture about half hour after my first swim lesson. What can I say? Swimming takes a lot of energy and can make it hard to stay awake through lunch!
Kind of hard to see, but that's me doing a back float with Coach Hannah helping.

Bye Bye Party!
Our Aunt Nichole started hiking the Appalachian Trail and since the starting point is in Georgia, we got to have her (and Uncle Skylar) over for dinner before she left.
We got to hang out with (and on) Grandpa Mark!
Clara was looking very pretty in her spring dress and with her blue eyes!
We sent Grandma Alice a picture to wish her Happy Birthday while we were all together!

Water Fun!
As soon as it started to get warm outside, we made sure to get good use out of our water table!
When you're in the middle of playing hard, sometimes there isn't time to get to the bathroom and you just have to pee in the "garden"!
Clara always tries to drink the water... Our clothes end up getting soaked from the splashing so it's best to just take some of them off!
Sometimes we get to wear out swimsuits to play!
And then sometimes we get to play naked! (Only on the back deck though...)
Here's Clara and I in action at the water table! I thought it would be a good time to use the water to try to get clean!
And here's Clara being silly in the water!

Bye Bye Ear Infections!
I finally got sick and tired of all of the ear infections and got tubes in my ears like Owen. I wasn't happy at all right after the procedure but after I got a nap, my ears felt so much better. The doctor said that I had lots of fluid just sitting in my ears - I can't really describe how it felt, but you can only imagine not great!
Even with my ears not feeling great before the procedure, I had a smile on my face!
I was a model patient - I let the nurse take my blood pressure, check my pulse and even wore the gown. Mom said that Owen wasn't nearly as good of a patient!

Baby's Growing Up!
Everyone is always so surprised by how grown up I'm getting! I don't know why though - I'm like a sponge - nothing gets by me! I may not be able to say real words yet, but I definitely understand what people are telling me. I like to help around the house by closing doors, throwing trash away and taking silverware out of the dishwasher. I'm good on my feet and have the stairs pretty much figured out (both up and down).
I got new sandals just in time for summer!
I really like my books - especially the ones with bright pictures and babies!
I'm a fan of bath time and I don't even cry when I get my hair washed!
I'm not too big yet that I don't enjoy a good nap or two during the day!
I have lots of hair, but it's not quite long enough for pigtails! At least ones that I can go out in public with...
What me? A troublemaker and a heartbreaker? Never!
I have figured out how to make my scooter go - and it goes fast!
I also have fun playing with my big brother - he is the funniest person around!
