Visitors!

After we got back from our trip to Asheville, we had some visitors show up at our house!  Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike!

Grandma and Clara had some good conversations during the visit!

There weren't a whole lot of group photos this trip!

Clara and Grandpa were good buddies on this trip!  Especially since he shared his phone with her...

I had a fun dinner with both of my Grandpa's at the house with me!

We took Grandma and Grandpa out for brunch during their visit.  Lucky for Clara and I (and everyone else), we got to sit outside so we didn't have to sit still the whole time!

Here's Clara and Grandpa playing one of her favorite games!

Sibling Love!

Owen and I have been having a lot of fun together lately!  He's a very good big brother and teaches me lots of new things!  I don't always like him and he doesn't always want me around, but I wouldn't trade him for any other!

When Mom and Dad had a meeting, we kept ourselves busy (for about 5 minutes) with some crayons!

At the cabin in Asheville, we found a new game to figure out together!

When it finally cooled off some, there were several days when it was perfect weather for dining al fresco!

Every now and then Owen will help read me my stories before bed!

Mom let us "help" her cook dinner one night!

It took Owen a while to want to finger paint, but not me - I dove right in to figure out how the paint works!

We went exploring at the park one day and found some rocks to climb on!  I just followed Owen's lead and did what he did!

After a day at the park with the soccer balls, they had gotten pretty dirty so Owen showed me how to clean them!

Last Outing in Asheville!

We definitely made good use of our time in Asheville to do and see as much as we could!

We got going one morning to get in a short hike!  It was too long for the girls so they went in the backpacks.

Check out these Number 1 Dads!

Hiking is hard work and requires a snack break!

We spent the afternoon at Sierra Nevada brewery.  Yes, another brewery - that's what happens when your parents like beer!  But it was just as fun for us kids because the sun was out and there was plenty of room to run around!

We took a little walk around the property and got to check out a caterpillar!  Kenley and I got to be friends by the end of the trip - she taught me how to roll down the hill!

The grown ups called Clara and Harper "frenemies"!  I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I think these pictures might describe it pretty well!

It was hot and sunny - hats required!

Beer Tasting in Asheville!

Yes, we went beer tasting!  Well, Clara and I stuck to water and juice while we walked around with Mom and Dad to different breweries during our Asheville trip!  But we still had fun!

We started our adventure at a restaurant for lunch!  Harper and her parents were there as well as two new friends - Kenley and Finn (plus their parents)!

Caught!  But completely innocent - I was showing Harper pictures on Dad's phone!

Can't say we didn't try to get a beer!

Here we all are at Wicked Weed!  We stuck to the outside spaces as much as possible...

We may have been the reason for the outside beer tasting!  Just a group of perfect angels...

The next brewery had an old car outside for us to play in!

The next one wasn't outside, but they did have a rock garden for us to play in!

Snacks and games kept us pretty occupied - along with running laps around one of the tables!

Labor Day in Asheville!

We took a trip to the mountains in Asheville over Labor Day!  Clara and I made a new friend named Harper!  Her dad is one of Dad's best friends.  We stayed in a little house that was just barely big enough for the 7 of us.  But we had so much fun!  There was a tractor in the front yard, a hammock, room to ride my bike, a fire pit for s'mores and a playground just down the road!
Here's our little Asheville house!

Here's the tractor!  It made a pretty good photo spot!

We couldn't wait to get out to the tractor first thing every morning - PJs and all!  That's Harper sitting next to me!

Here's our family selfie!  We all wore our orange to school/work for Clemson's first game!

Here we are at the playground!

The playground even had a tire swing!

The house was definitely in the mountains!

We did a little relaxing on the hammock!

And what would a trip to the mountains be without some snuggling under a cozy blanket!
