Soccer Superstar!

After my rough start to the soccer season, I have definitely turned it around!  I have fun going each week, have made some friends and am pretty good!  I listen closely to the coaches and when the ball is moving I'm running after it!  No playing in the grass for me!

I've got my game face on - need to concentrate!

Dad helped out with one of our practice exercises!

Leah's (the red hair girl) mom took some pictures during our last game.  I'm just figuring out how I can get my foot on the ball too!

Here we are with our coaches - just waiting to kick the ball in!

Gatorade was a good motivator for me this season!

At the end of the last game, we had a trophy ceremony!

Here's my team with our trophies!

Here's a video of me in action mid-season!  I'm #3 in the white jersey!

Here I am practicing my strong goal kick!

I didn't score a goal in this video, but I do have some pretty fancy footwork!

Clemson at Home!

We don't get to go to all of the Clemson games so we have to cheer for the Tigers from home, too!
Clara thought wearing Dad's shirt would bring Clemson good luck - it must have because they won the game!

Sometimes I even get to stay up past my bedtime to watch the football games!  The Clemson blanket is key for watching them win!

Go Braves!

My (Clara) first Braves game was one of the very last ones at Turner Field!  Next year they will be playing much closer to our house so maybe I'll get to go to a few more!

Unfortunately it was pouring rain when we parked so we hung out in the car to see if the rain would let up a little.  It did but not much...we still had to run in through the rain!

After we got inside, the rain stopped for a while and it ended up being a nice night!

I think I got spoiled for my first game - Mom and Dad told me that I shouldn't expect to sit in a box next time!  But it make for a first good experience!

I was pretty interested in watching the game!

I think I was pointing at Homer the Brave - even from far away I was a big fan of him!

Here we all are for a family photo!  Bye bye Turner Field!

iPad Time!

There's no doubt that Owen loves the iPad and I'm starting to learn why!  I can't sit and watch it as long as he can, but I do like to watch a little here and there, especially with my big brother!  And I love to get my hands on a phone so I can scroll through the pictures!

Sometimes watching Owen is just as fun as watching the iPad!

I'm still figuring out the right distance to watch it from - I think the closer the better but Mom doesn't agree...

Mom stayed home with me one day when I was sick (I really look sick, don't I?) and she let me watch some iPad so she could get a little work done!

Fun at the Zoo!

We all had a fun trip to the zoo for their superheroes night!  Of course I wore my Captain America costume.  But even though we were there in the evening, it got too hot and I had to take it off shortly after we got there!

Dad even wore his Superman shirt and cape!

We had some fun with their portrait boards!

Both Clara and I got to touch a real turtle!

I think Clara wanted to try climbing on the statue like me!

Soccer Time!

I played on a soccer team for the first time this fall!  I had a jersey and shin guards - just like a real soccer player!

Here I am listening to how the season will go.  I had a pretty slow start the first week - I even wanted to go home.  But I stuck with it and made it through - tears and all...

Here I am in action (Blue #3).  Slow motion action, but I am kicking the ball...

I had so much more fun the 2nd week (really wasn't too hard since I had zero fun the first week)!  It was raining so we had to play inside.

I'm still #3 but wearing a white jersey this time. I was practicing scoring goals!

Go Tigers!

While Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike were in town, I got to go up to Clemson for the first home game with Mom and Dad!  Clara hung out with Grandma and Grandpa for the day!

Pretty sure Clara had fun doing her own thing for the day!

We did some tailgating before the game - it was HOT!

Then it was nap time once we got into the game!

Here's our family picture at the game - it was still HOT!

Walking back to the car we came across a tiger (who had human hands for some reason...) I gave him a hug and a high five to celebrate the Clemson win!
