Playgrounds!

It hasn't been too cold this winter so on the really nice days we got to explore some playgrounds!  We didn't even have to wear jackets!

We discovered a new playground at the school where I played baseball!  Lots of my baseball friends played on it after practice, too.  We both had fun hanging around...

Of course we made some trips to the playground right next to our house.  We are getting to be good climbers!

I finally convinced Mom to stop at this playground that we drive by all the time.  It was awesome!  We stopped by again a few days later with Clara so she could check it out, too.  It has 3-story high slides and a double swing that both of us can do at the same time!

Here's Clara in action just hanging around!

Hanging Together!

We still have plenty of our iPad "together" moments, but Clara and I do lots of other things together too!

We both like to build things with Legos and to do puzzles!

A box is always good entertainment!  Clara wasn't stuck in the box - she was just getting more toys to add to it!

We got to stay up past our bedtime a little bit on a school night to cheer on the Falcons!  Popcorn is always a good snack with football!  I was sad to find out the next morning that the Falcons weren't able to win the big game...

We both got Valentines from our cousin Wylie and new Valentine outfits from Aunt Noreen!  We let Mom get one good picture of us before school!

A big milestone for Clara a few weeks after her birthday was getting to turn her car seat around!  Now she sits facing forward and in Dad's truck we still get to sit next to each other!

For a (very) special treat, we get to eat together in the living room!

We quickly learned how to properly cheer for the Falcons!  Rise Up!

Baseball!

After soccer ended I decided to try out a new sport - baseball!  There were a couple of kids from my soccer team on my baseball team, but I met some new friends too. Since it was winter, we played baseball inside of a gym so it wasn't too cold.

Here I am practicing my hitting!  This was my favorite part of playing baseball.

We practiced catching too!  Early in the season we practiced without a glove but pretty quickly we started using our gloves (and throwing).

And here's another hit - with some base running!

Of course I had my own personal cheerleader at my baseball games. Although sometimes she wandered off to do her own thing!

At the end of the season we all got trophies!  I had fun playing baseball but time to try something new!  Next up - football!

Showing Off Our Tricks!

Sometimes we do dance parties in the evening but other times Clara and I show off our "tricks"!  I'm getting pretty good (and brave).  Mom and Dad keep telling me they are going to get me break dancing lessons...

Here's me showing off my tricks!

And here was one I came up with at the end!  I call this my couch jumping trick!

Clara has been watching and learning from me and has come up with some of her own tricks!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I didn't have a big party for my 2nd birthday but I did have my friend Laura over for a play date with cake!  We've known each other since we were 12 weeks old!

Of course I had Minnie on my birthday cake!

I knew exactly how to make a wish and blow out the candle!

We had fun opening my presents!  I got a guitar and a microphone music player!

And I got my very own bike!  No hand me downs this time!

It's a little big for me but not for long!

This was definitely the last year both of us will into the car together!

Mom and Dad changed my room around for me now that I'm two!  Now I can reach all of my books!  And I have a new favorite spot in my room!

Oh my goodness - I was so excited to get a big present in the mail!

Go Tigers!

Mom and Dad left us for a few days with Grandma B and Grandpa Mark while they went to Tampa to watch a big Clemson football game.

Here's Mom and Dad after Clemson won the big game!

Maybe Clemson won because we wore our best orange that day!

We even made sure to play with orange and purple play-doh!

I let Grandma B play with my hair and pull it back in a different way!

Here we are acting silly as usual!  Hello!

Georgia Snow!

Shortly after we got back from the snow in Iowa, it snowed at home!  Well, kind of...

Here was the snow we got at our house!

So we drove half hour to Grandma B and Grandpa Mark's house since they got a little more snow!

I pulled out the trucks to dig up the snow and load it in the dump truck!

Clara really wasn't too interested in being out in the snow!

Fun Together!

It was fun having lots of family to be with at Grandma and Grandpa's but Clara and I still enjoyed being with each other the most (most of the time at least...)!

Here we are in front of the Christmas tree!

Grandma's chair was the perfect size for us to snuggle together!

We found some of Dad's old toys to play with and worked together to fix Clara's booster seat.

Dad put together an obstacle course for us in the basement with some of our new toys!  I ran it several times trying to get the fastest time!

Clara tried the obstacle course too!

Clara and I played "toy store" and I sold her a Rescue Bot!

Santa!

Santa found us in Iowa at Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike's house!

Maybe a couple of little elves told him the way...  With Bobby the Elf's help of course!

We all got busy checking out our Santa gifts right away!  I didn't have any problems unwrapping presents by myself this year.  Wylie needed a little help, but his Dad was there to help.  And Owen did during the day too!

We got some books...

I'm ready for the beach and Clemson football!

Owen got a Leonardo Ninja Turtle pillow but I took that over pretty quickly when I found the tags on it!  I got a Minnie doll that lights up, too!

We got a Fun Factory for play doh!  Owen was good at using it - I just like to make snakes!

Leonardo was tickling Wylie!

Grandpa was snuggling with Minnie - I had to work hard to get her back from him!

I was pretty excited about my sandwich-making kit and my new boots!

After a morning of presents, a nap is definitely necessary!

I also got a fun Minnie bouncing toy, but I need to grow just a little bit bigger for it!
