Birthday Party!

Our friend Will had a fun birthday party!  We got to paint, play with play-doh, jump in a bouncy house, eat cup cakes and play with toys that weren't ours!

Here we are making some painting masterpieces!

We sang Happy Birthday to Will before we ate our cupcakes! (Will isn't in the picture - he's across the table from Clara)

Here we are with two of our other friends - Mason and Madison.  Think we could be siblings?  Madison is only 2 months older than me and Mason is a little more than a year older than Owen.  We had fun playing with them!

Even though I've never wanted to get in the bouncy house we have at home (or anywhere else), I decided that this one looked like fun!

I had no idea how much fun I've been missing!

Monster Jam!

I got to go to Monster Jam again this year!  Clara didn't go with us (still too loud for her), but she will next year!  The monster trucks are awesome!

It was the very last event at the Georgia Dome so we had to get a picture with it!

My friends Ollie and Davis went too!  And so did several of my other friends but no pictures with them!

Here we are!  It was so much fun!

We had some great seats to be able to see all the action!

Our seats were right in front of the ramp that the monster trucks use to attempt a flip.  Ice Cream Man did a flip plus some!  A couple other trucks did a full flip, too!

Clemson Basketball!

We were missing Clemson so we all took a day trip up for a basketball game!  There's no tailgating for basketball games so we had time to check out downtown Clemson and walk around campus.  It was a beautiful day for it, too!

On the way up, Mom and Dad had to stop on the side of the road for a picture with a sign.  Kind of silly to me, but they were excited to take it!

Since we were there, we had to take some Clemson pictures!

It was nice and sunny - Mom and Dad said it was perfect Bowman Field weather!  We got to run around, pet some dogs and watch volleyball.

We found some orange grass on Bowman - probably not strange for Clemson!

Dad showed us where he used to live when he went to Clemson.  He said it looks a lot nicer now than when he was there!

Finally we made it to the basketball game!  I cheered for the Tigers - but only when I wasn't eating candy or popcorn!

It was a fun game and Clemson won!

We all had a good time putting on our orange and purple again!

Our tour of Clemson didn't end after the game - we got to visit the Esso!  We only drank water of course.  Looks like a fun place to go back to in 17 years though!

Clara liked the dance songs!

Scootin' Around!

Lately, Clara and I have been having fun riding our scooters around!

Clara has her own scooter but I was trying to teach her how to ride mine.  We had to go on the grass though so she wouldn't roll down the driveway!

Here's Clara on her scooter!  She can really get it moving!

And here I am riding my scooter!  I'm good at using the brake on it too (good thing with how fast I get going)!

Here's one of my tricks that I came up with on my scooter!

Grandparent Visit!

Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike flew down for a visit with us!

We all hung out over the weekend - including going to a nice brunch on Sunday!

On Monday, Clara and I got to stay home from school for a day of fun with Grandma and Grandpa at the Atlanta Children's Museum!  (And of course took a trip to the toy store!)

We both found lots of fun things to do!

Can you tell?

Mom and Dad got the Wii out and I learned how to bowl.  We played a couple of games and I even won one.  Still have to practice lots on Mario Carts though!

Clara Kay!

I'm quite the character these days!  And a chatterbox that doesn't stop!

I'm also very fashionable!  My Mom doesn't even have boots as cool as me!

I love my giraffe shirt (mostly because it has a pocket) and of course I still love Minnie!

My hair is long enough for real pig tails now!  Mom tried getting really fancy with my hair and did a french braid!  It looked good for a minute but didn't last too long!  Maybe she can try again in another couple of months.  I'm very patient when Mom wants to do my hair.

Mom got us an easel that keeps me entertained!  I have my own "sticker charts" to fill in and like to make chalk drawings!

I still like to snuggle (with fingers of course)!

I still need my naps to make it through the day - can you tell?  I sleep in my crib at night, but not for naps!  It's either my floor or Mom and Dad's bed for my naps!

Every evening after school (and I'm not exaggerating when I say EVERY evening), I take a quick trip to the pantry to take care of business!  And then I announce it to everyone!

On the way to baseball practice, Owen fell asleep so I thought it would be nice to try to wake him up!  It didn't work...

Swimming!

For the past year I've been taking swimming lessons once a week!  I've got my back float down and even have started working on my "big arm" strokes.  My old friend Emmaline takes lessons with me and Coach Hannah is our instructor.

Recently we changed locations so I don't go to the place anymore but I'm still taking lessons (and so is Clara)!

Clara doesn't usually go to my lessons but if Mom or Dad is on a trip, she comes and watches!

Here's my "big arms" in action!

Here's another one...

At the end we get to do jumps into the water!

Uncle Ken!

We got to meet our Great Uncle Ken (Grandma B's brother) when he came out to visit from Nevada!
I got to meet him at the golf course when I went golfing with Dad, Uncle Ken and Grandpa Mark!  Dad even got me my own set of golf clubs just the right size for me!

Later, we met up with Uncle Ken and Grandma and Grandpa at a local brewery!

They had a giant Connect 4 game that Clara and I had fun playing with even though we didn't understand the game!

The brewery we were at is called Red Hare - Mom and Dad seem to like the beers there!

No beer for us, but plenty of ice cream!

Clara was being silly with Grandpa's glasses!

I found a tree so I could get some of my energy out by pretending to be a monkey!

Here we all for a group picture!  It was a fun day!

Before Uncle Ken left, we had a birthday celebration for him.  He brought over pictures from home for us to look through.  Clara liked the pictures of his dog and horses the best!

And of course we sang him Happy Birthday before having cake and ice cream!
