Each weekend in my pre-K class, one of us gets to bring Patricia the Pout Pout Fish home. (She's kind of famous because there is a book written about her!) The same weekend of the first Clemson game was the weekend I got picked to take her home! We had lots of fun adventures together!
I showed Patricia around downtown and we took her over to the stadium!
The next day was game day! We were both looking cool!
She came with me to tailgate before the game and I even snuck her into the game with me! She was excited to see Clemson win, too!
Since it was a holiday weekend, I got to have Patricia at home with me for 3 days instead of just 2! On our extra day we went with Mom to Publix and showed her around there!
At the end of the weekend, Dad helped me put together my journal entry about Patricia's weekend with us. Then I got to tell my friends all about it the next day at school!
Clara and I both got to go to the season's first Clemson game this year! We spent the weekend up there instead of just driving up and back so we actually got to spend some time in town!
We ate dinner downtown on Friday night before the college kids headed out to the bars! Mom wanted a picture of us in front of Tiger Town - she said that's one of the only things downtown that was there when her and Dad went to Clemson!
After dinner we went to the stadium to see how it looked when no people were around!
There was an open gate and no one said we couldn't go inside of the stadium, so we did!
Clara and I even had a race against Dad on the sideline of the field! Shortly after that, the security guard told us the stadium was actually closed! Oops...Fun while it lasted!
On Saturday we did some tailgating before the game!
I played some catch with my friend Luke! Not my best effort, but it was fun!
They had a big sand carving celebrating Clemson's championship!
And we even got to see the championship trophy up close!
Clara did the Pledge of Allegiance but then fell asleep shortly after the game started!
When she was awake, she was cheering for the Tigers though!
Since we were staying at our friend Kaitlyn's lakehouse, we went back there after the game and had time to do a little swimming in the lake!
I don't have to wear a dress everyday, but I do like to wear them - especially when I can make them twirl! I love the dress even more if it has pockets!
Here's my twirling action shot!
I got a birthday card (well, actually Dad got the card) from Uncle Kenn that was perfect for twirling in my dress!
Both Owen and I are pretty good sleepers in general, but we go through our phases. Currently Owen prefers to sleep on a blanket on his floor instead of his bed (which is a mattress on the floor...)! I've been sleeping in my crib and have been fine with that. I just wake up in the morning and yell "Mommy, I have to go pee!" But Mom and Dad thought it was about time for me to move into a big girl bed (almost a whole year older than Owen was when he moved out of his crib)!
We were "helping" Dad take the crib apart!
It wasn't a huge change for me - can you tell? I can be pretty comfortable anywhere when I'm sleeping (as long as there is a tag nearby...)!
I started off with my mattress on the floor but I've got a little bed for my mattress now!
The next weekend we went over the Landon and Dylan's house for a sleepover! The boys did their thing being wild and crazy. Owen was a spy for the night!
Then we all snuggled up in the same room! Landon and Owen had their sleeping bags and Dylan and I ended up sharing the trundle bed! I was the last one asleep - all of the boys fell asleep before me (me being the only one who had a nap that day might have had something to do with it!) Sleepovers are fun!
Two of my best friends are Spencer and Elliott - they are twins in my class at school. We've been best buddies since we were two! Mom and Dad can't tell them apart but I don't have any trouble.
Spencer and Elliott's older brother had his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese and they invited me to come as well! We had so much fun and tried to play everything!
Another weekend, I invited them to come over my house for a playdate!
Dad helped us practice baseball outside!
We played with all of my vehicles in the playroom!
The grass "needed" watering so Dad turned on the sprinklers!
And we finished the fun afternoon off with popsicles!
Here's us in action trying to dodge the sprinklers!
