Sick Day!

Right after Halloween, I got to stay home with Grandma B because my eye was a little pink... I had a cold but other than that and my pink eye, I felt pretty good!

I looked through all of my books while I was there!

And we went outside to play on the backhoe for a little bit!

Here I am in action on the backhoe!  Just give me a pile of dirt!

As a feel better treat, Mom surprised us with Frozen dress up clothes!  It helped!

The next day Mom was worried about Owen's eye and mine was still a little pink, so we both stayed home with her!  We played pretty good together during the day but Mom was glad that we were all better to go back to school the next day!

Since I couldn't go to school, I sang a song from school for Mom and Owen!

Halloween!

Halloween finally came!  I love Halloween and all of the candy!

Clara and her friends all wore their Halloween shirts to school!

When we got home from school we decorated our pumpkins (with stickers from Grandma Pam) - Mom liked the no mess decorating!

Here's Clara hard at work and the finished product!

And here's mine!

We moved them out to the front porch for everyone to see!

Then it was time to put our costumes on and go trick-or-treating!  Clara was a butterfly fairly and I was Optimus Prime.  Neither Clara nor I were a big fan of my mask!

Here we are ready to go get candy in the neighborhood!

Grandma B and Grandpa Mark came over to hand out candy at our house while we were gone!  Clara was being silly with her Halloween glasses!

We went around the neighborhood with Mila and her dad (they brought over the silly glasses)!  We all ran up to the doors by ourselves, said "trick-or-treat" and got our candy.  We even said "thank you" without being reminded each time!  Clara was kind of slow but Mila and I waited for her so she could keep up with us!

Once we had enough candy we came home and helped hand out candy at our house!  Clara was pretty generous with her candy giving and I called out a few kids that didn't say thank you to us!

For a class assignment I had to sort and count all of my candy - I didn't mind doing that at all!  I got so much!

Clemson vs GA Tech!

We both got to go to another game at Clemson - this time they were playing Georgia Tech!  We left school early and made a whole weekend of it. We stayed at a lake house and reconnected with some old friends!  Didn't get to see much of the lake since it always seemed to be dark or raining when I looked outside though.

We started the weekend with a happy hour at Tiger Town Tavern!  Mom and Dad said it looked a lot different during the daytime!

Our friend Harper showed up there with her parents and she brought art supplies!

We had fun but I don't think it was quite the happy hour Mom and Dad were used to!

We found a common bond with Harper pretty quickly - the iPad!  We had two other friends with us at the lake house too - Grant and Samantha.  But they were too little for the iPad!

The next day we went to campus for tailgating and the game!  These are all of Dad's best friends from college - the group has expanded a bit in the last 15 years!

Not sure how I had never seen this before - it was right next to our tailgate!  Excellent climbing statue!

Another first for us - we got tiger paws painted on our cheeks!

Rain was in the forecast all day - luckily it didn't rain during the tailgate!

But it sure did rain at game time!  Mom got us kid size plastic bags to wear to keep us as dry as possible!

We were good sports!

Here we are with Harper and her family!

We stayed for Clemson's first possession - which was long enough to see them score a touchdown - then headed back to the warm, dry lake house!

Fall Festival!

Our school had a fall festival and we got to dress up in our costumes for it!  I even got to wear my costume all day!  I was Optimus Prime (from Transformers) and Clara was a Butterfly Fairy!
Here I am with some of my classmates - Weber, Ward, and Henry!

And here's most of my class!

And another one of my class - I wore my mask for this picture!

Here's Clara with some of her friends - Laura and Eva!

Clara only has girls in her class so lots of princesses!

Ridley wanted to get in a picture with Clara and Laura!

And Gabi, too!  Apparently Laura likes to be in pictures with Clara!

Clara's tutu and wings didn't work too well going down the slide so she modified her costume a little!  Her and Gabi were excited to play on the big playground (the one my class uses) since they don't normally get to!

Grandparent Time!

Mom and Dad decided they needed a few days away from us (I guess we make them tired or something) so Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike came to stay with us!  Mom and Dad headed off to Cancun Mexico and we had some fun times with Grandma and Grandpa!

Did some Lego building - shirtless of course!

We went to one of our favorite parks!  It has the best swing where we can both ride it at the same time (and I get to stand up on it)!

Grandma Pam styled Clara's hair and did an excellent braid for her!

Everyone came to watch my t-ball game and then we played on the playground at the ball park.  Clara was showing off her new Minnie watch!

We went to a pumpkin farm and each picked out the perfect pumpkins!  (A little smaller than the one I was sitting on...)

We went up to Marietta Square and the train park for some more fun!

They had some hula hooping set up there so Clara and I gave it a try!

The weather was nice over the weekend so we took advantage of playing outside!

We took a trip to the Children's Museum and found lots of fun things to do!  Clara loved the pretend store with the checkout counter!

I found a pretend restaurant and served Grandpa his order!

There was magic sand to play in and a tree house with a phone!

Of course Clara found the books!  And safety first with goggles!

We had a good time!  (And no trips to the doctor's office for anyone!)

We were beat!

We had fun with Grandma and Grandpa but were glad to have Mom and Dad back home!

Clara had some story time with Grandpa and read him "Go Dog Go"!
