Day Away from Mom and Dad!

Mom and Dad went to a Clemson football game so we got to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa Young!

We went to a Veteran's Day parade - got to ride our bikes and get balloon animals!

We also went on a Costco run! 

Clara was worn out so she got cozy for a nap!

Meanwhile, I spent time outside and found a tree to swing from.  I had to climb to reach it - took me a few times, but I didn't give up and finally made it!

Clara Kay!

It's not often these days that either of us let Mom pick out clothes for us - we have some pretty strong opinions! But I do like my purple dress!  And one day Owen and I both wore our track suits to school! (Usually Mom does my hair at home, but some days it works better to do it after we get to school...)

I got this bike 2 years ago and now I'm almost too big for it!  But that doesn't stop me!

Frozen is my favorite movie!  I like to wear my dress while watching the movie and sometimes Owen will even dress up with me!  I also like to watch it with my Anna and Elsa dolls!

This is pretty normal for an evening at home after school!  If you need a translation, I'm a hot mess!  And you can see why Mom doesn't always let me pick out my outfits!

Bunk Beds!

Mom surprised me with a new bed one day - and not just any bed - a bunk bed!  Then Dad and Grandpa Mark painted it blue for me!  

I started out sleeping on the top bunk but most nights I sleep on the bottom (it's bigger)!

Clara and I haven't had any sleepovers yet in the bunk bed but I'm sure it's in the future!

Field Trip!

One of the cool things about Pre-K is that we get to take field trips sometimes!  So far we've just been to the Atlanta library but it's fun to get out of the classroom!  We go to the library for storytime and a craft.  On one trip we got to see a farmer milk a real cow!

And Another Birthday Party!

Another weekend I went to the 5th birthday party of my classmate Kydal.  She had the party at her house and we did all sorts of fun activities (and just ran around in the backyard too).  It was a PJ Mask themed party so we all got our own capes and masks!

We decorated PJ Mask cookies with frosting and all sorts of sprinkles!

And I basically kept my new mask and cape on all weekend!

One of the new things that all my friends have been having at their parties is a pinata!  Here I am getting in a good swing at Kyndal's pinata!  

Another Birthday Party!

It was my turn next to go to a birthday party!  This party was for the 5th birthday of my best buddies Spencer and Elliott!

This place was fun - it had bikes like we have at school and track!

There was a mini-ball pit too!  I'm in there with Spencer, Elliott and Henry somewhere!  There was also a zip line, climbing wall and trampolines!

Birthday Party Central!

Owen and I got invited to several different birthday parties this fall/winter!  We made it to as many as we could!  The first party I went to was my friend Ford's 3rd birthday.  He used to be in my class before he moved to a new school.  He was the only boy with all girls!

Ford has his party at a cooking studio - I got to make my very own pizza!

Here was the finished product - it was good!

Park Fun!

We always have fun when we go to the park!  We like climbing, sliding, swinging, all of it!

Clara has watched me do the climbing wall and can do it by herself now!

I've been getting brave myself on the swings and can jump off now! 

Clara can't quite jump off the swing yet, but she can swing with no hands!
