While Owen and Mom took their trip to Kansas City, I stayed home with Dad and had fun!
It snowed the day they left! I couldn't believe it - it snowed so much! When we told Owen, I could tell he was pretty disappointed to be missing it!
Dad wanted me to play with him in the snow. I thought about putting on my snow pants but decided against it. Dad built an awesome snowman! But snow isn't quite my thing...
Helping Dad make gingerbread cookies was more my thing!
I got to go on a special trip with Mom to Kansas City to meet my new cousins! That's where Uncle Dan and Aunt Laura live. My cousin Wylie lives there too, but there were two new cousins this time - Brooke and Brodie! When we went to visit they were 3 months old.
We were in the waaay back of the plane and Mom let me have the window seat!
All 7 of us ventured out to a cool train park! Everything was decorated for Christmas.
Wylie and I had a lot of fun playing together!
I even asked to hold one of the twins - this is Brooke! I didn't hold Brodie but I did do a good job of making him laugh and helping him get to sleep!
I got to help Aunt Laura make some Christmas cookies and we had a mini Christmas gift exchange! I didn't mind showing Wylie how to unwrap presents at all!
Mom attempted a selfie with 3 of the 4 kids!
Wylie's not quite old enough to wrestle with me yet, but I bet next visit we'll be able to!
Here's all the cousins that were in Kansas City! Almost 5 years old, 18 months and 3 months!
Brooke is on the left and Brodie is closest to me!
It doesn't take much for me to be entertained - I found a big exercise ball in the basement and had a blast with it! Only had 1 incident that resulted in tears so it was a win!
This year we went to the zoo to see Santa! Before we visited Santa we checked out our favorite animals around the zoo.
We came across a pretty ugly bird - he was stinky! Or maybe it was the elephants that were stinky...
There were all sort of blow up decorations at the zoo - we wanted pictures with them all!
We did some rock climbing and checked out the pandas!
Another photo op that we found with a giraffe statue!
We finally made our way to see Santa! I was ready to sit with him and share my list, but Clara was still scared. But she at least was in the same room with Santa this year!
Here's my official Santa picture! A BatBot was at the top of my Christmas list!
Clara agreed to get in a picture (kind of) since Mom joined us. But she still wouldn't tell Santa her Christmas list. Hopefully Bobby the Elf is listening to her and can pass along the message!
It was pretty cold at Thanksgiving so we spent some time inside having fun, too!
The weekend before Thanksgiving, Dad took us to Toys R Us to buy toys for our Angel Tree kids. We got to use our own money to buy something new for ourselves too! I bought a Peppa Pig book and Owen bought a Magic Track. It was fun to have our new things with us at the cabin for Thanksgiving!
Peppa Pig was a popular book during the trip!
Mom brought some jelly beads for us to play with - they started out tiny and got bigger and bigger when they sat in water!
We all made some Thanksgiving crafts this year! They made nice decorations!
Owen and I helped Grandma B decorate some turkey cookies!
I showed off my dance/gymnastic moves!
Owen and I played a fun game with Grandma and Grandpa called "Ghost"! We took turns pretending to be a ghost and chasing everyone else! I wasn't too interested at first but I warmed up to it after a couple of times!
Owen and I also made use of the long hallway to practice our skipping! I like to skip everywhere!
I've never a huge fan of pictures but I was somewhat cooperative at Thanksgiving! Uncle Skylar wasn't with us at Thanksgiving this year so Mom was on her own with her camera!
When we want to we can actually look at the camera and not have a silly grin! Doesn't happen often though!
We took our family pictures outside - there may or may not have been some bribing to get me into jeans and nice shirt!
I didn't mind getting my hair done for the pictures though!
We put on our Santa hats for a couple of pictures and Clara turned into a grinch!
We went inside for more pictures! It was warmer inside so I got my smile back!
