Mother's Day!

Clara went with Dad to Nashville to visit Grandma Pam and Aunt Vicki on Mother's Day weekend, so it was up to me to make it special for Mom!  We had a fun day!  Mom found a place in town to go on a hike.  On our way there we stopped for breakfast at McDonalds!

We got to walk on a giant suspension bridge!

There was a little waterfall and across the creek was an old stone building we explored!

We found another Mom out celebrating Mother's Day with her chicks!

Mom thought there was a playground nearby but it was okay she was wrong - I found my own playground!

School Days!

Lots of fun stuff has been happening at school these days!

We tried to smile good for our school pictures!

The parents helped us celebrate our teachers and the theme was Dr. Seuss.  Clara's class turned into "Things"!  Clara is 3rd from the left.

Grandparents were invited to join us for lunch one day!  Grandma B had lunch with Clara and Grandpa Mark came to my class.  Think I was excited?

This is my class! We were having a bike race on the playground!  (I'm don't remember where I was but I'm sure I'm in there somewhere...)

Clara and her friend Maggie were playing in home living in their classroom!

We were learning about things that float in my class!

This was during one of our library field trips where we got to look at some cool things!

Go Cardinals!

It was another great season of t-ball!  This time I played on the Cardinals team and I had the same coach that I did in the fall (along with Dad, too).  My hitting got better and I even got some outs at first base (both by playing first base and by fielding and throwing the ball to first)!

Here is my official picture for the season!

I always got up to the tee ready to hit!

Not always paying attention as a base runner, but most of the time...

Lots of times Dad was the reason I was laughing on third base!

And I was "baseball ready" most of the time in field!

My hard work paid off - I got the game ball after one especially good game of hits and outs!

This was my cheering section - she seemed to get distracted quite a bit, too!  But she got to be a pretty good Spider Girl!

Here's one of my good hits from the season!

And this hit went all the way into the outfield!

Atlanta Zoo!

Mom took my friend Mila and I to the zoo one Saturday!  It was a great day - not too hot and not too crowded and we lucked out with a parking spot up front!  Afterwards, we met up with Clara and Dad for pizza close to home.

We definitely made sure to hit all of the highlights while we were at the zoo!

Mila kept us on track with her map reading!

It was a great day to check out the tiger - he walked right in front of us!

We had to stop to have a snack - we had only been asking to since we got to the zoo!

We stopped by the petting zoo!

And of course rode the carousel!

We ended our trip by playing in the park and pretending to be statues!  Can you tell us apart from the real ones?

Dogwood Festival!

After school one day, we all went to the Dogwood Festival before heading home.  It was a huge festival in Piedmont Park!  There were lots of artists there and things to look at, but of course our favorite was all of the kid's rides!

We found a cool playground to check out first!

Then we found a face painting station.  Even Clara got her face painted!

Here was the final result!  I was Pikachu (from Pokemon) and Clara was a pink fox!

We looked pretty good!

In the kids area, they had a carousel that we rode together.  But my favorite ride was a fun house that had all sorts of moving parts that made it almost like an obstacle course!  Clara wasn't a huge fan but I think I went through it more than 10 times!

Ninja Course!

My friend Tyler invited me to his older brother's birthday party at the trampoline place!  I love that place - so much jumping!  This time I even tried the ninja obstacle course!

Here I am on some of the obstacles!

Here's Tyler and I looking tough!

Then we decided to give Mom a smile for the picture, too!

Here I am in action trying to climb the warped wall!  It was pretty tough!  I think I need about a year and a little more practice to get to the top!

Go Braves!

We got to go to a Braves game when friends were in town - and it was a school night!  We've both been to a Braves game before, but it was our first time to watch them play in Suntrust Park.

Our favorite part of the whole game was the cotton candy!

This time I was big enough so the seats didn't close up on me!  Clara is almost there!

It was Mom and Dad's friend Kristi and her son Connor (and his grandparents) that were in town for the game!  Connor was the one that shared his cotton candy with us!

Clara was an excellent "chopper" for the Braves!
