My friend Miles invited the original boys club members over to his house for an end up summer and "see you later" celebration since we're all going to different kindergartens!
Miles has an awesome backyard for a bunch of boys!

Miles also has a huge trampoline which was perfect for a sword fight!
I was really looking forward to trying out the roller coaster into the pool!
We spent a lot of time in swim suits during our trip but we did lots of things that didn't involve the beach or pool, too!
We brought some games with us to play together at the condo!
Clara needed her nails painted and Grandpa Mark was happy to help!
One of our very favorite things to do was go on bike rides! Maybe next year Clara will join us on a bike but she was perfectly happy in the trailer this year!
We also started a new tradition this year - our half birthday celebration with Mom and Dad! Mom and Dad won't be getting us presents on our real birthday but that's okay because it was awesome to get presents and cake in the middle of the year!
We went to dinner with Mom and Dad at one of the marinas and got to see some really cool boats!
At a nature center we visited, I got to a hold a REAL alligator!
And Clara wasn't scared to hold a giant bug we found at the condo (he was dead though)!
There was lots of eating during the trip of course! Breakfast was my favorite - cinnamon rolls and Lucky Charms cereal! Definitely a vacation with grandparents!
All of the swimming and running around wore us out - we had to recharge each afternoon back at the condo!
Sometimes recharging ended up being a hard core nap for both of us!
When Mom had asked Clara what she wanted for her half birthday, Clara told her a purple dress! Mom delivered and as a bonus it is super twirly! I think it was Clara's favorite present because she wears it every week. She'd wear it more but Mom only does our laundry once a week!
This year, Grandma B and Grandpa Mark took Clara and I to the beach in Hilton Head! We stayed several days with them and then Mom and Dad joined us while Grandma and Grandpa headed home. We had some beach time, swam lots, rode bikes, and found some other activities to keep us busy there! Here's some pictures of our beach day with Mom and Dad!

I tried out the boogie board for the first time!

It's not a beach trip without a family picture!
Clara isn't riding on the boogie board in the ocean but she definitely enjoyed the ocean and beach more this year than in year's past!
