Neighbor Fun!

We live in a fun neighborhood and have lots of friends that live right by us!

Mila and I spend the most time together because we are together after school every day!

But Clara is good friends with Mila and her sister, too!  They are a little girls club!

We watched the Kentucky Derby at Mila's house - everyone had a horse for the event!

We went over to our other neighbor's house for dinner one night!  More girls there, too!  But I had fun reading to Evelyn and Clara had a tea party with Collette.

I decided to get in on the princess fun with the girls!

I might have dressed up, but I wasn't going to sing Moana with the girls!  But they did do a good job singing...

Easter!

We had a busy Easter weekend full of friends, family, eggs and candy!

A couple of days before, I got a surprise from Grandma B!  A nice Easter outfit!

We had to make sure we dyed some Easter eggs!  We tried a new method this year - Cool Whip and food coloring!

Here is an in between picture of our eggs! (Next step was to wash off the extra Cool Whip so the color was left behind...)

We had lunch at the Battery with some of our friends and then ran around outside for a little bit afterwards!

And then rolled around on the ground!

When we woke up we searched for the Easter eggs and baskets the Easter bunny left for us!  It was a race but end up pretty even between us!

But we had to count our eggs to be sure (and to eat some candy)!

Then we went to brunch just the 4 of us!  I definitely made sure to wear my Easter dress.  But I switched out the hat for some bunny ears!

When we got home, we did more Easter egg hunts outside!

I was hunting even though I didn't have my basket with me!

But you could probably say that Owen was the more serious one about the hunt!

Zoo Visit!

Mom took us to the zoo!  We went after it rained all morning so it wasn't crowded at all!

Lions and pandas...oh my!

Clara and I were in a picture taking mood so we found all the best picture taking spots!  And I wanted all the animals to wear my Clemson hat!

More statues!  This time we tried to blend in with the statues!

Clara had fun with the petting zoo goats - they had just gotten a major haircut!

The train wasn't open because of the rain, but we were able to ride the carousel lots of times!

A gangster and a lover just chilling with the flamingos!

Peace out!

We played on the playground for a while and I went across the monkey bars all by myself!

Bike Riding!

Owen and I have been busy riding our bikes!  We ride on the driveway and on the sidewalk across the street from our house.  Sometimes Owen even gets to ride around the block by himself (with his walkie-talkie)!

I've gotten very good on my balance bike!

See how well I can balance?

And here goes Owen!

Mom and Dad found a cool ramp set for Owen!  Now he can really do some tricks!

I was getting so good on my balance bike that I started practicing riding Owen's old bike with training wheels.  Before long  I was ready to try it without the training wheels!  And Owen was getting too tall for his bike so he got a new, bigger one!  Grandma and Grandpa Young took us to a park by them with a track so we could get some good practice in!

Grandpa Mark pulled up my training wheels and I was off!  I couldn't wait to get home to show Mom and Dad!

It didn't take long for Owen to try out some tricks on his new bike!

Family!

We had a month full of family in town!  After Uncle Skylar was in town, Uncle Ken came to visit - that's Grandma B's brother.  He got to come to one of my soccer games.  Then Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike came to visit and they came to a soccer game, too!
Our dinner get together with Uncle Ken!

Ice cream with Grandma Pam and swinging with Grandpa Mike!

Here Clara and I are with all of our grandparents!

Clara makes sure her family gets to see her true self!

Soccer!

Soccer season started and I had a great team!  Dad was our coach and I had several teammates from my school.  Uncle Skylar was in town for my first game and brought his camera along for some great action shots!

Of course, my best cheerleaders were at the game, too!
