Boat Trip!

My best friends from GP for Kids, Elliott and Spencer, invited us to join them on a pontoon boat one afternoon.  It was fun because Mom, Dad, and Clara came too!  The boat was really cool because it had a slide! 

It was a relaxing afternoon (but we weren't in the mood for pictures)!

Clara wasn't brave enough to try the water slide this time, but she did go up the ladder to hang out on the rooftop platform.

But I definitely went down the slide... over and over and over and over!

Silly Times!

Owen and I get to do a lot of fun things, but most weekends we spend a lot of time at home just being silly!

Here I am modeling some new clothes! 

Owen and I were determined to sit outside, even if it was raining!  We came up with the perfect solution! 

Owen discovered how much fun the car's rear camera can be!

We have rest time on the weekends - I was resting and being quiet (with my makeup) so no one can complain too much!

Mommy Time!

Mom had to travel for 2 whole weeks for work so when she was back in town, we both wanted some Mommy Time!

Mom and I went to Dave & Busters to play video games!  I even got a special treat - grape soda with gummy worms! 

After that we went to a hot dog restaurant!

Clara and Mom went to get pedicures!  They had a special chair for Clara!

Last Day of School!

Before we even knew it, it was the last day of school for me!  Kindergarten flew by and it was summer!

Leading up to the last day, Grandma B showed up to my class as the Mystery Reader and read us a story!

When the bus pulled into the neighborhood that afternoon, our parents had quite the surprise for us!  They met the bus with water balloons and water guns!  We'll be ready for them next year!

After that, there was a pool party at the neighborhood pool to kick off summer!

Birthday Party Weekend!

Owen and I went to two birthday parties in one weekend!  We were partied out by Sunday night for sure!

First we had to get ready for the party!  Mom helped me add some color to my hair!  And Owen wanted to get dressed fancy!  Just kidding - he didn't wear that to the parties!

The first party was for my friends Genevieve and Ethan.  Of course my friends Maggie and Laura were at the party, too!

Owen was invited to the party too since he's friends with Ethan's brother and his friend Henry was also invited.  So he had a mini-reunion with some of his Pre-K friends! 

Genevieve really wanted to have an eagle at her party and her Grandpa came through!  Owen learned about eagles in kindergarten so he wanted a picture with the eagle!

The birthday party the next day was at Fernbank Museum!  It was for our twin friends - Samantha and Grant!  Owen and I pretended we were asleep and then I built a fort! 

We also saw Grandma and Grandpa Young that day and explored a new park!  It was a busy weekend...

At Ethan and Genevieve's party, we had a fun game of Freeze Dance! 

I did some more dancing at Grandma and Grandpa Young's house - the hula dance!
