Quarantine Week 10!

After 10 weeks of digital learning, we celebrated making it to the end of the school year!

We continued to make good use of our beach gear and set up our spot in the front yard!  Grandpa Mark even joined us one day to enjoy the sun!

On a walk/run around the neighborhood, I had a big fall and scraped up both knees!

Since I couldn't have my pre-K graduation at school, my teachers drove by our house to celebrate with me!

It was fun to see Ms Brittney and Ms Ashley even if I couldn't give them a hug!

Last day of school pictures!  We both had much different hair styles from the first day of school!

The Kona Ice truck came to our neighborhood for a last day of school treat!

Then the dads drove through and started a water balloon fight!

Right after my last day of Pre-K, I lost my first tooth!

Grandma B and Grandpa Mark had us over for an end of school year celebration!  On to 2nd Grade and Kindergarten for us!

First and last days of school!

I think quarantine might have aged us a little bit!

My teachers showed up honking horns and so excited to see me!

Quarantine Week 9!

Grandma B and Grandpa Mark came and busted us out of the house for a few days!

They rented an RV and took us with them.  We spent a night at their house and then a night actually camping in the RV.  Can't wait until we get one of our own!

It looks like a dog came with us, but that was just a painting on the RV!

Ready to go!

It's not camping without Smore's!

It was a fun trip!  And an even better break from the house!

When we got back, Mom and Dad had a surprise for us - something else to keep us busy outside!  Our neighborhood pool was delayed in opening and it was starting to get hot!

After playing the pool, we took our towels out front to warm up in the sun!

We were missing being at the pool and the beach so we improvised and still tried to make good use of our gear!

A neighbor had an outdoor get together - it was good to see some friends!

Quarantine Week 8!

Who else is tired of quarantine??  Us too!  It was getting to be a lot of the same, but we tried to find new things to do, too!

The bouncy house became a fun daytime activity!  We learned quickly that we had to do it in the morning or late afternoon.  Right in the middle of the day with the sun beating down was not the best time and burned our feet!

Owen helped me practice my sight words!

Owen had to draw a cat in one of his art classes!

I wrote a thank you note to my two Pre-K teachers and drew them a castle picture!

Owen had virtual field day at home so he had to complete several different challenges and record his times!

Since I got so good at riding my bike, we went on a family bike ride to get lunch at Moe's and then ate it in the park!

We had so much fun in the tent, we convinced Dad to let us sleep in it again!  This time though we slept in the tent in the basement and Dad slept in the guest bed...

On Mother's Day we tried to make Mom feel special!

One morning, we took advantage of our neighbor's sprinklers for some fun!

Quarantine Week 7!

We continued to learn and keep ourselves busy during the day!  The weekdays were definitely different, but so were the weekends with no sports or birthday parties keeping us busy!

Look at these muscles and mohawk!

Clara wanted a cool hair do, too!

We finally took part in the chalk art craze and made some cool designs of our own!

Weekly I did an online Lego class where we had the chance to build a new creation each week!  So we pulled all my Legos out and got busy!  Clara started doing some builds, too!

I followed Clara's lead during rest time one day and put on some make up!  I just happened to use lipstick on the upper half of my face!

Mom set us up with a science experiment so we could see how clouds help moisture (until they can't)!

It was getting warmer outside so we found our own pool to splash around in!

I decided to take it outside to do my Way 2 Play class!

We convinced Dad to sleep outside in the tent in the backyard!

The weather warmed up to get outside in our swimsuits for a water fight!

A water fight outside was a perfect way to spend some time playing with our neighbors!

Afterwards, Mom put us to work shucking some corn for dinner!

For school, I had to write an informational paper and then present it.  I worked really hard on several drafts of this and practiced reading it!  And don't worry - that's just left over lipstick on my eyebrows!

I was still having fun flying my kite in the afternoons!
