We had the opportunity to have a photographer stop by our house and take some family pictures so we took it! We just had to put on clothes Mom picked out, smile for a few minutes and then we could change back to our play clothes! We didn't even have to go anywhere - best photo session ever!
I went to my first camp called Way 2 Cheer! You can probably guess what kind of things I did there during the day! It was good because Owen was at the same location, but at a different camp called Way 2 Play so I wasn't totally on my own.
I was all smiles at Way 2 Cheer!
We spent lots of time learning and practicing our routine for each week!
We even got to practice stunting! Benefit of being the youngest is that I got to be the one doing the stunts!
It wasn't all cheering - we had time to play games too!
I didn't know anyone at the start of camp, but I was quick to make friends!
After our lake trip, it was back to reality... And without school, we had all day to come up with ways to keep ourselves occupied!
One of our favorite games to play was "doggie" so Mom got out some of the old dog accessories and we pretended we had our own dog!
I learned how to rollerskate! No better place to learn than in the house! Owen already knows how so he was literally going in circles around me!
We decorated some flower pots!
A little extra fun when we got back was that Ethan, one of my pre-K classmates, had his birthday party in a park. It was so great to see my friends again!
We even got to do some painting in the park!
Maggie is one of my besties and we were so happy to see each other!
I had some assistance to begin with while I was learning to rollerskate!
Didn't take long though and I was skating on my own!
Our annual Memorial Day beach trip was a bust again this year due to Coronavirus! We are 1 for 3 at our St George beach house! Maybe that means next year will be a success... But we switched up locations and still had a great time!
We went to a house at Lake Oconee, GA with one of the families from our beach trip crew!
We all practiced our kayaking skills in the cove that our house was on!
Dad helped with my paddling skills!
I followed after Clara for a while to make sure she didn't get stuck, but she didn't need much help!
She was serious about kayaking!
It's always snack time at the lake, too!
A friendly neighbor let us use their lily pad to jump on - we had wrestling matches and jumping competitions!
There was plenty of time for relaxing at the lake house!
We played games on the dock!
We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit!
One morning, we tried our hand at fishing, but no luck...
The kids had to help shuck corn for dinner one night! Then we had our own game time!
One day we went out on the lake on a pontoon boat! More time for snacks!
Us boys spent most of our boat time riding behind it on the tube!
After we settled in, we tried out a few tricks!
Mom was able to convince Clara to try out the tube, too!
Nothing better than a boat nap!
We were missing our other beach trip friends, but were so glad to get out of the house to escape Coronavirus for a few days!
