Jessie Girl!

Jessie has settled into the family with no problems!  She keeps growing too - she weighs more than me now!

Jessie plays hard and then sleeps hard!

Jessie has adapted to our school days just fine - she especially likes the days that I take a nap after school!  I don't mind it either...

It didn't take long for me to find out that Jessie doesn't mind dressing up!

Mom and Dad tried to have a rule that Jessie wasn't allowed on the furniture...that didn't last too long!

Jessie can be an odd dog at times, too!

Dinner in the living room didn't happen often before, but it really is a rare occasion now that Jessie is around!

Jessie had no problem snuggling up to watch a Clemson game!

Jessie is the biggest snuggler you'll meet - she will squeeze into the smallest places to take a snooze!

During school, Jessie hangs out with us!  She has made several Zoom appearances to meet our classmates!

Tooth Fairy!

 We had a couple month run that kept the Tooth Fairy busy at our house!

Lost my 4th tooth - first one that actually left a hole!  When I lost my other teeth, the permanent tooth was already growing in!

And lost my first front tooth - or one of my "bucker teeth" as Clara and I call them!

I can make no front teeth look good!

My front teeth grew in and then I lost another one from the top!  Seven for me so far!

Clara's bottom two teeth started to grow back in!

And not long after that she lost one of her bottom teeth and a bucker tooth!

Clara definitely doesn't have her new teeth growing in behind - she just keeps creating more holes in her mouth!  Five gone for Clara!

Soccer Days!

We didn't get to have a spring soccer season so it was great to get back on the soccer field in the fall!  Clara played in the U6 division and I moved back to the rec league and played in the U10 division.

Clara hustled all the time and was one of the best on her team!

Clara's team wasn't the best but they had a few great games!  Clara even scored 3 goals in one game!

Clara had an extra fan at one of her games when Lennox stopped by!

I had a great season that was a lot of fun!  I got to play with some kids from my neighborhood and school!

This was my first time playing games with a goalie and I gave the position a shot!

I worked hard to learn the position and stop some goals!

My team ended up undefeated during the season!

My biggest cheerleader took some breaks from watching the game to play with friends!

In this game, I made a pass to my teammate for an assist! 

Here's some of Clara's moves on defense to stop a goal!  Her league doesn't have goalies yet so it's up to the team to play good defense!  Clara's team is white during this game.

Clara used my games as cartwheel practice sometimes!  She has pretty good form - especially in slow motion!

Family Time!

We were able to spend some weekend afternoons outside at Grandma B and Grandpa Mark's house when the weather was nice!  As a bonus we got to spend time with Lennox, too!

Lennox loved Clara's sequin star shirt!

Lennox was using Mom's old high chair - we wanted to see if we could still fit in it!  Technically we can still fit, but not comfortably!  

Clara helped Grandma B harvest some carrots from the garden and then rested with Lennox!

Jessie came with us one visit and we got our first family of 5 picture!

One Wednesday after we finished our school work, Grandma B and Grandpa Mark took us up to Blue Ridge for some apple picking!
