Christmas!

This was supposed to be our year to travel to Iowa for Christmas, but Covid had different plans for us!  So we made special memories staying at home!

Santa was sneaky and found Mom's phone again!

We were pretty excited to see what Santa left us - we must have been good during the year!

It worked out perfectly to open up presents from our cousins Brooke, Brodie and Wylie on Christmas Eve because we had PJs and a robe to wear on Christmas!  Jessie got a few Christmas gifts, too!

Jessie got into the holiday spirit with her new sweater and stylish glasses!

Presents and more presents!

All the presents wore us out!

Then it was time to play with our new presents!

Just a girl and her dad!

We were excited that Grandma B and Grandpa Mark could spend Christmas with us!

And of course there were pictures!  I think Owen was most excited that he got to stay in his PJs all day!

There wasn't an easy way to get Jessie in the big family picture...

Laser tag anyone?

The day after Christmas was just as relaxing!

Owen almost got his two front teeth from Santa!

Jessie didn't mind the laying around and relaxing at all!

We were so excited to find the gifts that Santa left us!

Holiday Spirit!

This holiday season wasn't quite like others with the extra distance and masks, but we still managed to make it special!

Thank goodness Bobby the Elf didn't have to quarantine and could still visit us every morning!

Bobby the Elf even showed up in our classroom one morning!

Mom had to stay at a hotel one weekend for work by the Braves stadium so we went and visited for dinner!

Wylie, Brooke and Brodie sent us a ring toss game - it was fun to pretend to be a reindeer!
Grandma B and Grandpa Mark got us a Lego advent calendar so we looked forward to getting a new lego toy each morning as we counted down!

I got crafty one day and made some ornaments!  Jessie always seems to be close to the action!

Santa made some adjustments so that we could still visit him and share our list with him!  No hugs though!

He was in a funny mood!

We both brought out lists and read them to Santa!

Afterwards, we walked around the Marietta Square - it was such a beautiful day!

It was fun to get in the Christmas spirt with Grandma B and Grandpa Mark!

We even got to play at the train park - we had missed it!

We had a big surprise one night when Santa came to our house (while we were awake)!

That definitely got us excited for Christmas!

In addition to Christmas, we were counting down the days until the end of the semester (and digital learning for us)!  One afternoon, we had a picnic lunch with Ms Ivory, our neighbors, and their teacher!
