Summertime!

We were able to have a relatively normal summer after a very not normal school year! The first half of summer was full of swimming, camps and friends!

I went to one of my favorite camps - Way2Cheer!  I was even "Cheerleader of the Day" one of the days!

I still got to be a flyer in some of the routines!

We learned some new jump moves!

Owen spent time at Rock N Jump for Lego camp with some of his friends!  Out of all of the fun activities there, they wanted to do the wind machine!

I had a playdate with my friend Maggie - we were taking a sun break from the pool!

We spent lots of time at our neighborhood pool playing with each other and our friends!
Mom found a new app to make us all into Disney characters!

Even though it was summer, we still tried to keep up with our reading!

I had fun experimenting with different hairstyles!  Dad helped me add some red and blue color into my hair!

Colorful braids and crimped ponytails changed up my look!

Mom and I compromised on this one - I wanted multiple ponytails and she wanted a braid!

Mom surprised us one day with a special lunch!  We call is our "fancy" lunch now!

Memorial Day!

After adjusting our Memorial Day trip last year, we headed back to St George Island for our annual trip with friends!

I don't think we could have fit anything else in the car!

We had pool time everyday!  It was a nice afternoon break after the beach!

The six of us kids managed to keep ourselves busy inside playing real and made up games!

Of course, we made sure to make time for our devices!

The girls stuck together - especially at breakfast!

Mom took us to visit the island's lighthouse and we climbed to the top!

This trip, the grown ups rented a golf cart which was so helpful to get all the gear to the beach!  The kids tried to make a get away by ourselves, but didn't get far...

But then we did get to ride in the golf to go get some ice cream!

Ice cream on an (almost) summer day is the best!

The girls styled their hair but I was more interested in playing ping pong!

This year at the beach, I had lots of fun being buried in the sand!

And then we totally buried Elle!

There's the girls again - just relaxing!

Jumping in ocean waves never gets old!

We also had fun playing with a beach soccer ball!

I practiced my boogie boarding skills!

Clara did her favorite beach activity - digging in the sand and building sand castles!

Our beach trip wouldn't be complete without a photo session on the beach!  All the kids...oldest to youngest!

Here's the whole group!  This was our 7th beach trip together (minus the year the tropical storm cut it way short and last year's covid cancellation)!  The first trip together was just a few months after Clara was born!

It's always fun to take family pictures too!  Clara and I do like each other lots of the time!

Last Day of School!

It was another strange school year with Covid!  The first half we spent doing school at home and then the second half we were able to be in school with our friends, but with masks and lots of other rules.  We really look forward to having a normal school year again.  But we were still able to celebrate the last day of school and the beginning of summer!

Here we are with our last day of school signs!

Everyone was excited about the end of school - even Jessie!

Kisses all around from Jessie!

Our neighborhood had our annual end of school year water balloon fight!

It was serious business!

Our neighborhood Teasley crew!

My class had an in person end of year celebration at the park!  We sang a song for the parents and I got to give my teachers one last hug - Mrs. Waits and Mrs. I!

Mom took me for some relaxation and to get some summer colors on my nails!

Our neighborhood also had a pool party to kick off summer!

Pool fun with my friends Hadley and CC!
