End of Summer!

We finished off summer basically in the water!  We visited the pool as much as we could before it closed and had a couple of lake days with friends!  We might not have a boat or lake house to offer, but we do have our own tube to bring!

Nothing better than snow cones at the pool!

When you're at the pool, it doesn't even matter if it's raining!

Here's the cool dudes of our neighborhood!

And the awesome ladies of the neighborhood!

I even lost another tooth at the pool!  Luckily, not IN the pool!

Lake time on a boat is full of smiles!

I think boat life suits me...

A day on the lake isn't complete without a boat nap!

Boat life suits Owen, too!

We had so much fun on our tube!  It didn't take long for Owen to get crazy on it!

I started out a little slower with the craziness but had lots of fun, too!

Not sure what the boys were laughing about?!

It didn't take long for me to get crazy too!  This is a move I learned from Owen!

Even Mom went on the tube and had a good time!

At Lake Hartwell, we got to try out Davie and Ollie's tube...let's just say it was a lot easier to fall out of than ours!  But that didn't stop me from doing some tricks!

The boys may have started out tame but definitely didn't end that way...

Owen didn't want to try skiing or wake surfing, but he did try knee boarding for the first time!

We got to see several of our friends on the lake over the summer, including Landon and Dylan!

We spent time with Liz and Catherine!

And time with Davis (and Ollie)!

A little bit different speed of boat for Owen, but still fun!

This is what sleep looks like after a day on the lake or at the pool!

New School Year!

We started third and first grade!  And fully back in school - no virtual days!  We had the option to wear masks or not - you can guess what we chose...  My teacher for 3rd grade is new to Teasley and Clara's 1st grade teacher is the same teacher I had when I was in 1st grade!

We did our signs again for the first day of school!  I'm holding tight to the plan to be a ninja when I grown up!  Clara had some tears on the first day so wasn't in a mood to hold her sign...

Jessie cheered her up enough to get one picture before school!

We didn't even plan our first day of school outfits!

We didn't ride the bus all last year, so we were excited to be on the bus!  It was Clara's first time riding the bus to and from school!

Clara was back to all smiles on the second day of school!

We have desks in third grade instead of tables!  It didn't take long to be doing experiments!
