Sitting Pretty!

I'm kind of sitting up these days!  I have to lean all the way forward to keep my balance though.  And even then I can tip over if I'm not careful.  

Wouldn't you like to be this flexible?!  Flexibility is a must to be able to suck on one's toes!

Race for the Cure!

Last weekend, we participated in Race for the Cure as a family.  Mom and Dad weren't quite up to running the 5k so we did the 1 mile walk.  I was just along for the ride so it didn't matter to me!  

The weather was awesome - sun was out so I needed my shades!

The Latones did the walk with us too!  Oliver stayed at home with his grandparents though so I didn't get to see him.  But I had fun sticking my tongue out at Davis!

Playtime!

I always enjoy my playtime at home.  I have lots of fun toys!

Still loving my $2 consignment store find!  Can't remember if I told everyone but I found out that most of my cousins played with this toy when they were babies (so it's at least 20+ years old!)

Wouldn't you like to play with a mirror if you were this handsome, too??

Sometimes I wear myself out playing and just have to rest my eyes...

Happy Mother's Day!

For sure I have the best mom in the world!  Dad helped me make it a special weekend for her.  I spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Young's house so that Dad could take Mom for a night out on the town (and they could get a solid night's sleep!).  Then we all ate brunch back at home and I got to give Mom my present.

And if you haven't noticed, sticking out my tongue is my new thing now.  When I smile these days, chances are high that you'll get to see my tongue, too!

In full confession, I didn't make this masterpiece on my own.  Dad visited me at school one day and helped me make it for Mom.

Playdate!

Last weekend Mom and I had a playdate with Emily, Davis and my best bud Oliver!  It was fun to play with all new toys.  And I got to watch Davis do some tumbling in the living room - I can't wait until I'm big enough to do that too!

School Update!

This is how I roll (literally) at school!  I get to ride in this fancy stroller with 5 of my friends.  We never go far but I like the outings.  One day we went outside and one of the girls next to me was crying.  I couldn't figure out why - there were so many cool things to look at outside!

Since I started school there have been 2 sets of twins that have joined the group.  They have to wear name tags for the teachers.  I'm definitely not the baby in class anymore!  I'm also drinking out of big boy bottles now - no more 4 oz bottles for me!  All my teachers say that I'm a good eater!

If I don't say so myself, I've got a pretty cute laugh!  Dad knows just what to do to get me going!
