Uncle Steve and Aunt Shelley!

I got to meet my Uncle Steve and Aunt Shelley this past weekend!  They live in California but were driving through Atlanta for Uncle Steve's job.  

We met them at IHOP for breakfast.  The food looked good but no one shared anything with me so I had to find other things to play with.

Shelley's phone was lots of fun to play with!

Here we all are in front of Uncle Steve's truck!

Highlight of the day was getting to drive the truck!  Watch out Atlanta!

Look close and you can see me and Mom through the windshield!  This site would give you a thrill if you saw it in your rear view mirror!

After I finished driving, I got to play in the cab.  Shelley had me all strapped in for safety!

I thought Shelley was pretty funny!  Can't wait to see them (and the truck) again!

Bumbo Seat!

Mom understands now why they changed the name to Bumbo FLOOR seat!  I guess this means no more sitting on the table for me!

Silly Times!

I have lots of fun just being silly!

Here's me and Grandpa Young being silly on the porch swing. I wasn't even trying to stick my belly out so far!

Even first thing in the morning, I like to stick out my tongue and be silly!

How can I not be silly when Mom and Dad dress me like this??

I'm not silly ALL the time...sometimes I do like to just sit and cuddle!

New Sounds!

If there was still any doubt that I'm going to be loud like Dad, this should take care of it.  I'm still figuring out my voice and all the cool things I can do with it!  Paul doesn't like to hang out with me when I "talk" to him like this - not sure why??

New Food! Yum! Yum!

Over the weekend I got to try "solid" foods.  Not sure why they call it solid when it's more like rice soup!  On the 2nd attempt, Mom and Dad made it less soupy and it wasn't as bad though.

Here's Mom feeding me my first couple of bites.  I got to use Dad's bowl from when he was a baby!

This is what I thought of that rice soup.  Bring back the bottle!

It wasn't as bad when Mom let me help feed myself.

But really I just wanted to play with the spoon...

Five Months Old!

I'm five months old now (technically last Monday)!  Two weeks ago, I had my first "sick" doctor's visit after I threw up at school.  But I wasn't really sick.  It was nice to get to go home early from school with Mom though.  When I was at the doctor, I weighed an even 16 lbs!

Playtime!

I'm showing my creativity already!  I found a new way to play with my activity mat!

In full disclosure, it ended up not being that fun...probably won't do that again.
