School Picture Time!

I know Mom loves me but she hasn't made it a secret that she wasn't too impressed with my school picture taking skills last year.  Looking back I'm starting to see why...

These were my pictures from Spring 2014.  Not too terrible...

This was my picture from Fall 2014.  Not so great at all...

But I turned it around this year!  Mom calls me her little model now!  She thinks Clara had something to do with it and that her smile is contagious.  But it's just me smiling on my own terms - just like I like to do everything else!  The photographer probably got a nice bonus from the money Mom and Dad spent on the pictures!

I went above and beyond - I didn't just smile but I posed, too!

Here's Clara starting out strong at her first picture day!  No surprise though since she's always smiling!

We even cooperated for a combined picture!

Fun at School!

Here's what I've been up to at school these days...

 

My friends and I did a super heroes day so I wore my batgirl outfit - complete with a cape of course!  This is my friend Ayden checking out my outfit...

Here's all of the super hero gang!  Ayden still can't keep his hands off me!

I discovered how fun mirror can be!  And a ride in the bye-bye buggy is always fun!

Here I am posing in my new dress from Aunt Noreen in the red chair!

It's the same red chair that my brother took pictures in at school!  This was taken almost 2 years ago to the day from my picture.  So he was a couple of weeks older than me in his picture....  I'm more advanced than he was with posing for the camera!

Mother's Day!

We all got to celebrate Mom this year on Mother's Day! Dad made reservations for us at a nice restaurant (the nicest one I've ever been to!) for brunch.  Luckily I got a quick snooze in the car before we got there so I was in a good mood.  And we got to sit outside away from the other tables - I was perfectly fine with that because I got to walk around without being told to sit down!

Here we are with Mom!  I call her Mommy most of the time, but sometimes it's fun to call her Mom and even Casey!  Clara just cries when she needs her...

Clara wore one of her fancy dresses for brunch - didn't she look pretty?  Then she changed into something more comfortable but still appropriate for the day!

And here we are with Mom's mom (Grandma B)!  And a family picture - Clara and I had other things going on more important than the picture!

Months 3 and 4!

I'm 4.5 months old now - hard to believe!  It's flying by so quickly that I can't even keep up with it on the blog!

Here's a couple of my cute outfits (and smiles)!

 And here are my 4 month pictures!  I went to the doctor a week later for my 4 month check up and my official height was 24.75" and my weight was 13 lb 14 oz.  I had to get a bunch more shots - not fun for me or Mom!

Here's a couple of my "firsts" in action.  No swaddle for me when I sleep!  I like to spread out and now that I can roll over onto my belly, that's the very best way to sleep!  And you can see what me at the doctors with a double ear infection with pink eye looks like - just pitiful!  Mom also caught me with my fingers in my mouth - my middle two fingers are my favorite! 

Owen got some new sunglasses and we both got to model them for the camera!

Strawberry Picking!

We went with some of our friends to pick strawberries at Southern Belle Farm!  Dad and I picked strawberries - two whole buckets - while Mom and Clara supervised.  And really Dad picked because I was busy eating...

We went with the Chitnis family and the Palmer family.  Here's our big group picture!

I just wanted to pick eat strawberries - not take a family picture!

The strawberries were so good!  I didn't even mind getting dirty.  After I got bored with the strawberries I found a big dirt pile to play in.  The dirt and strawberry juice was a messy mix that was lots of fun to clean up! 

Clara was a hit with our friends - everyone wanted to say hi to her!  She even had a strawberry outfit for the outing!  And since Clara was getting her picture taken, I wanted to pose for a picture, too! 

Mom and Dad had some strawberry ice cream, but I didn't want to try it.  Clara, on the other hand, was trying to use some mind tricks to get a bite of it to jump into her mouth!

Outside Fun!

The weather started to get really nice in April so I've been spending a lot of time outside playing!  Even Clara comes outside sometimes!

We all went to the park one day to meet up with two of my friends from school - Henry and Hunter.  We had lots of fun with the bike!

When we went to Grandma and Grandpa Young's house, I helped Grandma water the plants.  And I let Clara try out my swing - I think she liked it!

Here's some more pictures of our fun in the sun!  You will notice that shirt, pants and even diaper are optional at times (but always shoes or socks)!  For the record - I'm in the backyard - no streaking out front!   

Mom got me a water table, but who needs that fancy thing when you have an old bottle brush, bucket of water and spray bottle!

Uncle Dan and Aunt Laura!

In April Uncle Dan and Aunt Laura came for a visit!  It was their first time getting to meet Clara.  They spent one night with us so I definitely know who they are now.  Uncle Dan had to work while he was in town but I kept asking for him whenever we saw Aunt Laura!

I got to go to the zoo with Aunt Laura and Mom!  I rode the train with Aunt Laura while Mom kept an eye on the stroller.  We saw elephants drinking water, lots of snakes and lizards in the reptile exhibit, and gorillas!

Aunt Laura helped give Clara a bath and brought a new shirt for her!  I got some legos - I build all sorts of things with them!

Somehow I missed out on the picture opportunity, but Clara got a good one with Aunt Laura and Uncle Dan!
