Like Mommy?

We're starting to see some similarities between myself and Mom these days...

I thought I was being funny making up this face on my own - guess it's just in my genes...

And apparently my pig tails aren't unique either!

Weekend River Walk!

One weekend we went on a walk at the Chattahoochee River.  We didn't get going as early as Mom and Dad wanted so it was a little hot!  But Clara and I didn't mind!

We went down to the river to take a little break and to throw some rocks!  

Clara got tired of the stroller and wanted to walk with the rest of us!

Sleepy Heads!

Luckily for Mom and Dad, both Clara and I still like our naps!  We might flight it when it's time for nap, but we usually lose that one...

Lately building forts has helped make nap time more fun for me.  The more pillows the better!  Sleeping on the floor doesn't bother me.  It's been a couple of months since I've slept in a bed, even at night!

Since Clara is still a baby, she usually has someone rock her to sleep.  And of course her fingers and lovie are never too far away!  If a lovie isn't around she's not opposed to using something else, as long as it has a tag...

Clara doesn't take her naps in forts like me.  She still sleeps in her crib.  Mom and Dad said they hope it stays like that for a while.  If I keep sleeping on the floor, maybe I can just give her my bed...

When we wake up from our naps, we both need a little time.  If you rush us, be prepared for some grumpy kiddos!

Little Helper!

I can be a little helper around the house these days!  My favorite thing to do is throw things away in the trash!  Sometimes it might be a snack cup or water bottle, but I get it right most of the time!

When it's time for a diaper change, I like to help get the diaper.  And I can even help clean up Owen's cars sometimes!

The help that Mom likes the best though is when I put away the silverware from the dishwasher!  I would put the silverware away all the time, but apparently it's only okay when they are clean...

Lake Trip!

I got to go on another vacation with Grandma B and Grandpa Mark this year.  Just me again!  This time we went up to a lake resort in North Georgia.  There was lots to do and we had lots of fun!

Mom and Clara came up the first day we were there to check it out, too.  But then they left and it was just Grandma, Grandpa and I!

Before Mom and Clara left, we all took a little boat ride in the paddle boats.  Clara wasn't a big fan of the life jacket so it was a quick boat ride!

Clara jumped into out boat for a little bit to see if she would like it better (she didn't)!

Here's just a sampling of all the fun we had over the week!

Played a some mini golf...  I was celebrating getting my ball in the hole!

Did a little swimming...  I tried out my new goggles!

Ate a little ice cream...  It may or may of been a meal one day!

Watched the ducks that lived near our room...  I stayed my distance thought!

And of course took some naps...  Not a better place than the porch swing on the deck!

I didn't have much trouble sleeping at night, that's for sure!

My room had two twin beds in them and of course the spacing was perfect for jumping!  I brought jumping on the bed to a whole new level!

I got to bring my scooter and there was a ramp right by our room that was just perfect for scooter riding!

Since I was at the lake with Grandma and Grandpa on Father's Day, I made sure to send a message back to Dad!  I'm pretty sure he heard me...  

Just Chilling!

I know it seems like we are always wild and crazy (and we are most of the time), but Owen and I do take time to relax every now and then!

Having a lovie and fingers is a must to relax...

Owen like watching some Paw Patrol to relax, but I'm fine just snuggling with him!

Even when we're relaxing, we can still be silly!

Water Boy!

I'm still taking my swim lessons and getting more and more comfortable in the water!

Here I am doing one of my back floats!  I can pretty much do it by myself but I only like to do them in swim class and not at the pool with Mom and Dad.

Sometimes it can be just as much fun to play in the rain as it is in a swimming pool!

And our water table is still lots of fun!  But now that it's hot outside, it's clothes optional!
