Beer Tasting in Asheville!

Yes, we went beer tasting!  Well, Clara and I stuck to water and juice while we walked around with Mom and Dad to different breweries during our Asheville trip!  But we still had fun!

We started our adventure at a restaurant for lunch!  Harper and her parents were there as well as two new friends - Kenley and Finn (plus their parents)!

Caught!  But completely innocent - I was showing Harper pictures on Dad's phone!

Can't say we didn't try to get a beer!

Here we all are at Wicked Weed!  We stuck to the outside spaces as much as possible... 

We may have been the reason for the outside beer tasting!  Just a group of perfect angels...

The next brewery had an old car outside for us to play in!  

The next one wasn't outside, but they did have a rock garden for us to play in!

Snacks and games kept us pretty occupied - along with running laps around one of the tables!

Labor Day in Asheville!

We took a trip to the mountains in Asheville over Labor Day!  Clara and I made a new friend named Harper!  Her dad is one of Dad's best friends.  We stayed in a little house that was just barely big enough for the 7 of us.  But we had so much fun!  There was a tractor in the front yard, a hammock, room to ride my bike, a fire pit for s'mores and a playground just down the road!

We couldn't wait to get out to the tractor first thing every morning - PJs and all!  That's Harper sitting next to me!

My Own Tractor!

Mom and Dad surprised us with my very own tractor!  Our friends Elle and Elliott were nice enough to pass on their tractor to us since they are too big for it now.  

We had to charge the battery when we got it so we just sat in it for our snack!

Once it was charged, we were off!  I loaded up the back with stuff from the garage because you always have to carry something in your tractor!

Here we are in action!  I always drive and Clara rides.  Clara is very serious about riding and she understands the rule about holding on tight!  Especially with me driving...

Summer Fun!

A real fire truck came to our neighborhood!  It was here for the kids to see it, not for an emergency.  We got to meet the fire fighters and see them in all of their gear so we won't be scared if they have to come help us!

I even got to sit in the driver's seat!

Later that day we went down to the pool!  We figured out this summer that the best time to go is after dinner.  We had the whole pool to ourselves!  I even practiced some of my "frog bites" from swim lessons! 

Dance Party!

Some nights we have a dance party at our house!  I've learned some moves at school so it's fun to show off!

(And Mom may have learned something new so you can hopefully watch our videos on your phone...)

Ready for Halloween!

Clara and I are ready for Halloween already!  I've known for months what I want to be!  I can't wait to get lots of candy!

I'm Captain America!  I've slowed down on wearing my costume lately but there definitely was a two week period that I wore it a little everyday!

Clara has even tried on my mask!  She makes a pretty good Captain America, too!

Clara is going to be a ladybug for Halloween!  I didn't wear a costume when I was almost two for Halloween, but I think Clara will be wearing hers!  She's not going to let me get all of the candy myself!

Mom got us a new candy bucket so we can each have one!  Clara thought it was a hat!

School Days!

I'm a pre-schooler now!  We call our class the "boy's club" because there are no girls!  Well, except for our teachers...

Here's Clara and I on my first day of pre-school! I was more interested in my new classroom than taking a picture.  Clara helped to drop me off!

Clara has been learning lots in her toddler class, too!  She learned where milk comes from and she even tried grapefruit (and liked it)!
