Snow Day!

We got another snow storm in January!  It didn't bring as much snow as the one in December, but we still got to stay home for a day.  Good thing we had lots of new toys from Christmas to keep us busy!

Here's the snow we got!  It was beautiful!

I made sure to spend a little time outside playing in the snow (with our beach toys!)

Pop a Pig is a fun game to play! 

The best place to play with a new toy that involves water is the bathtub!

Clara was checking out some of the classic toys instead!  These were toys that Mom and Uncle Skylar played with when they were little! 

And our another of our new favorite games - The Squirrel Game!

Happy New Year!

We rung in 2018 at our friends Landon and Dylan's house with our other friends Elle and Elliott!  We even got to spend the night at the house with everyone.  Good thing, too - we stayed up late!

Here's 6 crazy kids!

Landon and Dylan have a basement full of cool toys!  Owen and I didn't have a hard time finding something fun to play with!

We spent most of the night in our jammies! Even Mom! 

Right before midnight, we got the party hats out to have a real party!  And poured the champagne...just kidding!  It's only water! 

Owen and I stayed up all the way to midnight!  Happy 2018!

Downtime!

After a busy birthday and Christmas week, we needed some downtime to relax!

Owen makes a good pillow on the couch!

And then sometimes I make a good pillow!

Owen and I know how to veg out in front of the TV!

Watching Frozen in my Coronation dress is the best way to watch!

My friend Maggie got her fingernails painted so I wanted mine painted, too!  It wasn't quite the spa, but Mom did a good job and I held very still for her!

Owen got to go to to the movie theater with his friend Emmaline!

Checking on Progress!

While Uncle Skylar and Aunt Nichole were still in town, we went over to Grandma B and Grandpa Mark's house to check on the progress!

The construction is really just a big obstacle course for me!

It was cold - Clara was more interested in cuddling than exploring!

Dad, Grandpa and I were trying to figure out how the mud just continues to stick around!

This is the walkway between the bungalow and the new house!

Of course, Clara was all smiles inside and reading books with Aunt Nichole!

We found a big balloon that Dad blew up and let fly through the house.  I thought it was so funny!  I don't quite have enough hot air in me to fill it up myself though!

I'm Officially Five!

On my actual birthday, Mom and Dad got me out of class to take me to lunch with them!  Then they surprised me by taking me over to my friend Henry's house for the rest of the afternoon - even better Spencer and Elliott were over there too!

Then the next day I got to stay home with Grandma B, Grandpa Mark, Aunt Nichole and Uncle Skylar.  They took me on a special birthday adventure to Legoland!

There were lots of cool Lego displays to look at (and ride)!

There were different stations to build Lego creations - I think Grandpa had as much fun as me building things!

There were lots of games to play, too! 

Then I built a car to race on the track!

They were exciting races!

It was fun to hang out with Aunt Nichole and Uncle Skylar for the day! 

Here we all are - happy birthday to me!

We had some fun with Snapchat!

I built a winning car! (Mine had the blue on the front of it - you might have to watch twice to see how fast it was!)  And I was ready to race it over and over!

 

Christmas Afternoon!

We just about wore ourselves out with all of the presents earlier in the day, but we still managed to save some energy for the rest of the day!

Aunt Nichole brought supplies for a fun craft!

It involved marshmallows and chocolate - my favorites!

Clara wasn't so sure about how her's turned out!

Here is the final product from everyone - our marshmallow snowmen!

Aunt Nichole thought she could beat me at Mario Cart - she was wrong!

Clara and Uncle Skylar hung out together!
