More Hilton Head Beach!

After Grandma B and Grandpa Mark headed home we headed back to the beach with Mom and Dad!

Owen tired to teach me some beach yoga which turned into racing the waves!

It's not the beach without snacks!

I think if were casting for a Baywatch Junior show, we'd have a shot!

It takes me a day to warm up to the beach, but it's hard not to have fun with the sand and waves when you're hanging out with Owen!

So glad we got to have a real beach trip this year after our trip earlier in the year was cancelled!

Hilton Head Pools!

We spent quite a bit of time in the pool during our Hilton Head trip!  I was really practicing my swimming skills - no floatie for me anymore!

Clara floated around in the big pool, too but she spent quite a bit of time in the baby pool!

When the pool closed one afternoon because of thunder, we checked out a splash pad at a hotel next door!  

It was a perfect place for a water fight!

There was a boy that I played with at the pool several times and he taught me how to do a front flip!

Hilton Head!

This year, Grandma B and Grandpa Mark took Clara and I to the beach in Hilton Head!  We stayed several days with them and then Mom and Dad joined us while Grandma and Grandpa headed home.  We had some beach time, swam lots, rode bikes, and found some other activities to keep us busy there!

Clara isn't riding on the boogie board in the ocean but she definitely enjoyed the ocean and beach more this year than in year's past!

Fernbank!

A lot of times, I just tag along as Owen's little sister, but when we went to Fernbank with some friends, it was half my playdate too!  

Ethan is in my class at school and his big brother and Owen used to be in the same class.  So while the bigger kids played, Ethan and I did, too!

This rope bridge was no joke - took all my concentration to get across!  But I did it!

Always time for some stretches - or just acting silly when Mom says to smile for a picture!

Do we look like paleontologists?

After Fernbank, we had a dinner party at our neighbor's house!  I sat next to my friend Hadley while we watched a movie!

4th of July!

We had a fun weekend celebrating America's birthday!  We started the day at the pool and then had an all-American dinner of burgers, watermelon and apple pie.  Then we got to stay up late and watch fireworks!

Owen and I tried to build something (maybe a rocket?) before our friends came over!

Of course Mom had to get a picture of us in our 4th of July outfits!  Thanks Aunt Noreen! 

We found the cupcakes at the neighborhood party!

The best part of the fireworks is that they take place just down the street from out house! I liked watching them but they were a little loud sometimes! 

It takes a lot to impress Owen! 

At the neighborhood pool party, Owen won a prize for coming in first at the Pin the Star on the Flag game. He had to try it out in our pool at home!  I just wanted to take a bit out of it!
