Quarantine Week 1

And then life as we knew it came to a screeching halt!  We had no idea that our last day at school would actually be our last...

Over the weekend, we transformed our living room into a classroom!  We were ready to go on Monday!

We came up with a schedule for the day and we had our daily chore chart!

Mom and Dad moved their offices home and we tried to take over!

During digital learning, we took a yoga break!

It felt a little like school when we did art class online!

Here's our finished products from art class!

Our neighborhood had a driveway chalk art event and we went to town!

Mila and CeCe came over to help us color in Earth!  Our drawings turned out pretty good!

I had to build a robot out of 3D shapes from around the house for one of my assignments!

I was sad that I outgrew my muscle shirt so Mom got me a new one. I can show off my muscles now!

By the end of the week, we were missing our friends.  Clara talked to Maggie and Ridley - she was all smiles!

I got to see some familiar faces on FaceTime as well - Henry and Elliott!

Normal Life!

We didn't know it at the time, but life was about to change big time for us!  Luckily we were just living our best life each day!

We were lucky that our last restaurant meal was with our friends Landon and Dylan!

This was one of my last rides to Pre-K with Mom!  The rides were always relaxing - I even had time to do my nails on the way in!

I'm glad we got to get to the park for some swinging before they shut down!

And we had a fun dinner at our neighbor's house that included pajamas and a movie!

First Grade Days!

First grade has been fun for me!  I've started reading by myself and I love math!

One of my Christmas presents was getting to do Way 2 Play after school.  One week I was Way 2 Player of the week!

I went on a bike ride with Mom and Dad and found a piano to play!

I had the chance to do a soccer instruction session with some former Atlanta United players.  That was cool, but even cooler was that my Pre-K buddies were at the camp, too!

We had a book day at school and got to dress up as our favorite book character.  I chose Dog Man!  Everyone in the class dressed up including Ms Stevens!

Dad and I went with Landon and Dylan and their dad to an Atlanta United game!

There are many nights when Mom and Dad say I have my hollow leg at dinner. Typically when we have chicken legs, I have my hollow dinner!

Pre-K Days!

I've continued learning lots of different things in Pre-K.  I've even started practicing sight words as I start my journey to learning how to read!

Here I am practicing my numbers with Ethan!  We also learned about tools and even got to use tools to take apart a drawer!

We make time for some fun, too!  I tried hard to beat Ms Brittney!

We took turns finding our sight words!  Home living is my favorite center to spend time in!

We had to practice cutting and gluing to make our names into rocketships!

We did a cooking lesson to learn about measuring things!  And we got to eat our cupcakes!

We learned all about the earth and the other planets in space!

Holiday's are always a good time for a celebration and dressing up!

Lots of pink and red!  Not that much different from a normal day with so many girls in the class!

This year our teachers set up a really fun career week for us!  We learned about all different kinds of careers from our friends' parents!

One of the building's police officers told us about his career!

We got to visit one of the big conference rooms to learn about what Ridley's mom does at GP!

Great Wolf Lodge!

Grandma B and Grandpa Mark had quite the surprise for us over Winter Break!  They took us on a trip to Great Wolf Lodge!

I was so excited to go again!  We read bedtime stories with Wiley the Wolf!

I was ready for the water in the morning!

No surprise - we spent a lot of time in the wave pool!

Owen ventured down some of the bigger slides with Grandpa Mark!  And of course the Lazy River was fun as always!

It was a great trip!  Can't wait to go back again!

On the car ride home, I entertained everyone with some signing from Frozen 2!
