Pool Time!

I've got lots of pictures to share about my big trip to Iowa to see Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen but first I wanted to tell everyone about my big pool adventure a couple of weeks ago.  

We went to the neighborhood pool in Grandma and Grandpa Young's neighborhood.  It took me about 15 minutes to get ready and then I only stayed at the pool for about 10.  Oh well!  It was okay but there were lots of other kids in the pool that were way more interesting .

Who me?  Poop in the pool?  I would never do that!

Six Month Old!

Six months old!  Hard to believe I've been around for half a year now!  Had a good report at the doctors.  Mom forgot to put on the board, but I'm now in the ~50% for my weight and ~70% for my height. 

 

On my actual half birthday I got to meet my cousin Josh while he was in town for work.  He's the first cousin I've met so far!

School Days!

Here's some pictures to show what I've been up to at school...  It's easy to see why mom and dad are okay leaving me each day - I have lots of fun without them!

One day we got to go down a slide on a blanket.  Can you tell I loved it??

This was several weeks ago.  I still like to sit in the cushioned circle but I don't need all of the blankets anymore...

Last week we started water play so I get to play in the pool one day a week.  One hand in was enough for me the first day...

After water play I wasn't quite ready to get dressed yet! 

I got to play on the giant butterfly!

We're learning about the ocean so my teacher brought in some REAL fish last Friday!  They were fun to watch!  Gotta ask Mom and Dad for some fish...

This was back in April when I was still a baby. Me and my buds were just watching the action out the window.

Dad came to hang out with me at lunch one day and we painted a picture for mom for Mother's Day.  It was a masterpiece!  

No Peas Please!

Rice cereal - good.  Sweet potatoes - good.  Peas - NASTY!

Sweet Potatoes!

I graduated from my rice cereal to sweet potatoes!  These are way more fun!  I promise some of it even gets into my belly!

Mom made the mistake of thinking I didn't need a tray! 

D! A! D!

Sunday was Father's Day and I got to make Dad feel special.  He's the best dad I could wish for - he's so funny!  He makes me laugh all the time - I really laugh when he holds me upside down!

 

Mom helped me bake Dad a strawberry lemonade cake.  Last time I help though since I didn't even get to try a bite!

Kristi Longley stopped by while she was driving through Atlanta so she could get to meet me!  She was very nice and I can't wait to meet her little boy Connor!

Dad is the most interesting man in my world!

I made some art for Dad at school.  Not as elaborate as Mom's but still pretty fancy!
