What Did You Say?

I've got lots to say these days!  It doesn't really seem anyone understands what I'm telling them though...  I'm working on it!  Owen has been learning new things to say (or sing), too!

"Ball" is one word I can say and now I can even say it in the right context (that wasn't really the case when Mom took the video of me)!

This is a fun trick Dad and I worked on!  He does a good impression of Donald Duck so that's what I think all ducks sound like!

Owen has been practicing his ABC's a lot.  He's very good at singing them and for a while it was part of his going to bed (or nap) routine.  Because it's Owen, it took Mom two videos to get the complete song!

Wild Girl!

I learned the hard way that it's not going to be easy for me to avoid injuries if I want to keep up with my big brother!  I let him push me in his dump truck and when I fell out accidentally, I hit my head on concrete...  It was quite the boo-boo and a big scare for everyone!  But I was a tough girl and it didn't take too long before I had a smile back on my face.

Just Driving Around!

After the air show, we went back to Davis and Ollie's house to drive cars!  Landon and Dylan came over, too.

Clara decided to ride the fire truck...

I got to drive my friends around - we went fast!

After I fixed the car, I took Clara for a drive!  I was careful of course...

Air Show!

One weekend when Dad was out of town we went to an air show with Davis and Ollie!  It was a first for Clara and I.  The planes were loud and fast!  There was also lots of different trucks for us to climb in and learn about.

We got to check out the inside of a fire truck - even Clara wanted to have a look!

I even got to try on a fire fighter's helmet!  Davis and I pretended to be fire fighters with the big hose!

Next was the police vehicles - a car and a motorcycle!  Mom said that the front seat of a police car is much more fun than the back seat... 

They even had a SWAT vehicle there!  The airplanes flying over us didn't bother me much. 

A Day with Us!

This is what a day with us is like -

There are some parts of the day that are quiet - nighttime, nap time, stroller rides...

But most of the day is like this!

Zoo Trip!

On Mother's Day, Mom wanted to take a trip to the zoo with us!  It was way too busy there, but we had fun anyway and got to do all of our favorite things!

But before we left for the zoo, we got to play with Grandma B for a little bit because she spent the night at our house!

We each took a turn feeding the giraffes!  They have long tongues!  Clara was a little scared so Mom had to feed the giraffe for her. 

I needed a break so hopped a ride on the stroller with Clara!

Of course we rode the train!  Since I sat in front of Clara, I got to do what I do best - make her laugh! 

We each posed with Mom for a Mother's Day selfie!

I got to be a bus driver at the playground... 

When we got home, we went down the street for a neighborhood party.  Clara and I took a break to enjoy some grapes!

Porch Fun!

We are still enjoying our screened in porch!  Although we'd rather just play on the porch furniture...  Mom loves that!

I got to help Owen get the cushions set up just right.  Then we had our steps to climb on! 

And then it was time for a nap...

Sometimes I like to just watch what's going on in the backyard (and especially the dogs next door)...

Owen got a surprise one night when Daddy took him "camping" in the backyard.  They didn't just sleep on the porch - they slept in a tent in the yard!  All night long - and it ended up getting cold that night!  Mom and I were snuggled up in our beds inside!
