Family!

Every time I go to Iowa, I get to meet more family, in addition to seeing lots of other family again!  This Christmas trip was no different...

Of course, we got a group photo in front of the tree!  We were missing one person this year though - my cousin Holden is working in Japan.

And one of our little family - good thing we did it here since we didn't have a Christmas tree at home!

We got close to getting a picture of all of the first cousins together - just missing Holden.  And I was not interested in taking this picture at all!

We spent lots of time with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike!  We even slept in their room in our blow up "boats"!

Grandpa and I did lots of drawing and I let Grandma read me some stories one night!

Aunt Noreen stopped by for a visit!

And we got to meet John!  He came all the way from California!

We had fun with everyone but we were most excited to meet our newest cousin Wylie!  We showed him how the dancing dog worked.

I was okay with him looking at my toys but I didn't really want to share more than that!

We even managed to get a couple pictures with Mom and Dad, too!

Snow in Iowa!

We all flew up to Iowa to spend Christmas with Grandma Pam, Grandpa Mike and the rest of our family up there!  

I had my own seat but Clara still sat with Mom and Dad.  Next trip she will get her own seat though!

We both did pretty good on the flight up there - the Fire and being tired helped!  

I brought my very own suitcase that I got for my birthday!  I pulled it all through the airport by myself - and no complaining!

There was already snow on the ground when we got there.  I found a new sled - blue of course - and Grandpa took me outside to check it out.  Being pulled in a sled is fun!

Overnight and the next day it snowed even more!  And the nice part is that it was just cold enough to snow but not too much colder!

Clara and I both bundled up as much as we could and headed out!

 

Clara didn't like the snow quite as much as me...  She only wanted to be held by Mom or ride in the sled so her feet would stay dry (she didn't have boots like me)! 

Dad built us a snowman! 

I named him Olaf! 

Clara and I did some sledding together and then I took her on a ride!

Another Birthday Celebration!

When we were in Iowa for Christmas, I got to have another birthday celebration with my family there!  Aunt Christy's birthday is two days after mine so we share our birthday celebration!

A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake of course!  Aunt Christy was excited about it too (even though she didn't turn 4 like me this year...)

Clara had a fun time, too - even if she didn't show it! 

After cake I got to open up some birthday presents!

Clara modeled the vest that we gave Aunt Christy for her birthday!

Clara got to open up one of her birthday presents a little early so she wasn't left out of the present fun.  She got a Minnie Mouse as big as she is!  She loved it!

We didn't want Wylie left out either so we gave him one of our old toys - I think he likes it as much as we did and seemed to figure it out pretty quick!

When we got home from Iowa, I got to celebrate my birthday one last time with my class at school.  Mom brought doughnuts for all of us!

Birthday Presents!

When we got home from my party, I didn't have any trouble waking up because it was time for presents!

I got a couple of Rescue Bots!

And a fart machine!  This was Mom's favorite...

Then Dad had one last present for me - it was a big surprise!

A Hot Wheels Garage - I was asking for it all year and I finally got it!

It definitely was the ultimate garage!  It was awesome!

I also got my own suitcase with wheels and a handle.  Plus a baseball glove!  Clara took it over pretty quickly though when she found the tag!
