I'm Officially Five!

On my actual birthday, Mom and Dad got me out of class to take me to lunch with them!  Then they surprised me by taking me over to my friend Henry's house for the rest of the afternoon - even better Spencer and Elliott were over there too!

Then the next day I got to stay home with Grandma B, Grandpa Mark, Aunt Nichole and Uncle Skylar.  They took me on a special birthday adventure to Legoland!

There were lots of cool Lego displays to look at (and ride)!

There were different stations to build Lego creations - I think Grandpa had as much fun as me building things!

There were lots of games to play, too! 

Then I built a car to race on the track!

They were exciting races!

It was fun to hang out with Aunt Nichole and Uncle Skylar for the day! 

Here we all are - happy birthday to me!

We had some fun with Snapchat!

I built a winning car! (Mine had the blue on the front of it - you might have to watch twice to see how fast it was!)  And I was ready to race it over and over!

 

Christmas Afternoon!

We just about wore ourselves out with all of the presents earlier in the day, but we still managed to save some energy for the rest of the day!

Aunt Nichole brought supplies for a fun craft!

It involved marshmallows and chocolate - my favorites!

Clara wasn't so sure about how her's turned out!

Here is the final product from everyone - our marshmallow snowmen!

Aunt Nichole thought she could beat me at Mario Cart - she was wrong!

Clara and Uncle Skylar hung out together!

Presents!

It was a great Christmas!  Clara and I must have been good throughout the year because we got lots of fun presents!  Here's some of the highlights...

Santa definitely came to our house - he left us pictures on Mom's phone! 

Clara got a trampoline!

I got a soccer goal and nerf guns!

After we got to see our Santa presents, we started opening our family presents!

Clara was excited to get Princess Anna's dress (from Frozen) and a baby doll stroller!

I got the Paw Patrol all-terrain vehicle and some more race cars! 

There was a giant present under the tree that I had waited so long to unwrap!  I knew exactly what it was - and I was right!

It was a Bat Bot!

 We also got some new games that are fun to play!

We got puzzles too! 

Clara had to take a break in the middle of the puzzle to tell Aunt Nichole something!

Who knew that stacking and lining up cones could be so entertaining?

Grandpa Mark was glad to help Clara figure out her new camera!

Christmas Eve!

This year we stayed home for Christmas!  Aunt Nichole and Uncle Skylar came to Atlanta so we were able to spend time with them over several days.  We started celebrating with everyone on Christmas Eve!

Dad and I made gingerbread cookies for everyone to decorate!

My favorite part was rolling out the dough! 

We helped Grandma B open up one of her presents - it was a karaoke machine!  It didn't take me long to figure out what to do with it!

I didn't want to put the microphone down but Owen had moved onto his cars! 

Of course we took a family picture in front of our Christmas tree!

Later we watched a movie - Frozen of course!  And with my Anna and Elsa dolls... 

Aunt Nichole was excited to watch Frozen with us, too!

Before we went to bed, we said good-bye to Bobby the Elf.  He had to head back to the North Pole with Santa!
