Christmas in Iowa!

We traveled to Iowa for Christmas and spent it with our family there!  We flew out on Christmas Eve - we probably passed Bobby the Elf on his way back to the North Pole!

We're pros at airplane travel! 

And pros as sleeping in the car!

We were so excited about getting to play in snow...but unfortunately this was not the year for a white Christmas!

We were determined to make the most of it though!

Who needs snow to play with a sled?

Dad, Uncle Dan and Aunt Laura took us out on the frozen lake for some winter fun!

We got to go fast so it didn't matter it was ice instead of snow!  Clara had to hold on tight to Brooke!

This is about all the sledding I was able to manage for the trip...maybe next time!

Santa!

This Christmas, I had the chance to talk to Santa Claus twice!  I made sure to tell him everything that I wanted because I've been very good! 

The first visit we happened to run into Santa after Henry's party.  There were also some reindeer with him!

I sat and talked with Santa, but Clara decided she didn't want to...

The next time I talked to Santa, we all went to brunch together and he was there!

Clara still wasn't ready to get too close to him, but she at least got in the picture with me!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Finally it was time for my own birthday party!  We decided to do something different this year to celebrate - instead of inviting my whole class, I just invited a couple friends to go do something fun.  I picked a place by our house - Rockin' Jump!

There was trampolines, a dodge ball court, a rock climbing wall and a wind tunnel! 

Afterwards Mom drove us back to our house to play and have cake! We had a full car!

Oh and of course - presents!

I had Pokemon cupcakes to celebrate with! 

After cake, we played some basketball!

Six Flags!

This year we all got season passes to Six Flags!  Since we had to go to the park to pick up our passes, we spend a couple hours there checking out the rides!  It was a sunny, winter day, too!

Clara didn't want to go on any of the roller coasters, but she loved the Batman ride!

We both liked the Wonder Woman ride too!  We got to drive and be crazy drivers!

I went with Dad on one of the little roller coasters and then went on the Joker ride by myself.  It was fun - it went up and then dropped us down!

Birthday Party Season!

Birthday party season was upon us again!  Both of us were invited to some fun parties to celebrate our friends!

Owen kicked it off (literally) at his friend Henry's party!  Henry is one of his best buddies from GP for Kids.

Miles from GP for Kids was at the party too!

I got to go, too!  I played with the older boys some, but then hung out with Ethan who is in my class (and little brother of one of Owen's friends)! We had fun watching the fish!

Here's all the GP for Kids buddies!  This was their first time getting to see each other since they all started kindergarten! 

Then my friend Clare had a gymnastics birthday party and Elsa was there!

Next was my friend Gabi's birthday party!  She had a Paw Patrol party! 

Chase from Paw Patrol joined in on the birthday fun with us!

Bobby the Elf!

Bobby the Elf made another appearance at our house before Christmas!  We were on our best behavior so that he was able to bring good reports back to Santa!  Bobby's so funny - he had us laughing each morning when we found him!
