Hollywood Studios!

Our first full park day was at Hollywood Studios!  We didn't make it to the really big rides or to the Star Wars land, but we stayed busy in Toy Story Land and got to meet a lot of characters!

Our first big ride was Slinky Dog Dash!  We were pretty excited for a big roller coaster!

But actually on the roller coaster was a little different story...

We might have been more excited to be done with the ride...

Clara was pretty excited to meet one of the Toy Story characters!

It was Jessie!

We were able to catch the toy soldier parade!  Clara got a wave from one of the soldiers!

In Toy Story Land, we also rode Alien Saucers and our favorite, Toy Story Mania!

Then we went over by the Incredibles and met Edna Mode!

We watched a Frozen show with Anna and Elsa, so it only made sense that we got to meet Olaf!  He was hard to hug, too!

Clara had to sneak in one last hug on the way out!

Next we found Pluto and did a dance with him and got a hug!

Clara got to meet one of her favorites - Doc McStuffins!

Then she saw Vamperina!

Dad snuck over to Star Wars land while we took some pictures on the way out of the park!

Each day we got to pick out one souvenir from the park!  I went with a Star Wars sword and Clara couldn't resist getting a bubble wand!

Here's Clara getting a wave from the Toy Soldier parade!

Epcot Day 1!

On our arrival day, we ventured to Epcot for a little bit after exploring our resort and swimming!  We all went on Test Track as one of our first rides and it was awesome!  It was way faster than any of us thought it would be, but everyone loved it (even Clara)!

We even got to go on a ride that went inside the giant ball!

Look at what we found!

We had a chance to meet Baymax!  It was impossible to give him a hug!

Epcot looked cool at night!

Disney Bound!

We were so excited to go to Disney World for a week!  We had seen commercials and heard about trips our friends took, but we didn't know how much fun we'd have!  Rides, characters, treats, swimming, princesses - we did it all!

We couldn't forget my Teasley Tiger for the trip!

We didn't waste any time getting into the pool at our resort when we arrived!  There were two water slides - we might have gone down them fifty times each!

One night we even went swimming after dinner!  We almost had the whole pool to ourselves!

Our resort had a little beach to play on as well!  Even with a fire pit to roast marshmallows!

Our resort had some beautiful sunsets!  It was perfect to rest up for the week ahead!

The pool was a perfect place for Clara to practice my Disney songs!  First up was How Far I'll Go from Moana!  With a fun surprise at the end!

Then Clara practiced the class Let It Go from Frozen!

Pre-K Days!

Pre-K has been a lot of fun and I'm learning so much!  I can write my letters - in upper case and lower case, count to over 100, do some addition math problems and even teach Mom some new words!  I will definitely be ready for Kindergarten in the fall!

Here I am with my besties all ready to head to the Pre-K classroom!

We do some of our lessons on the computer.

Lots of our learning is through drawing and being creative! Right up my alley!

My favorite things to draw these days are hearts, flowers and princesses!

Some days we go outside for lessons!  And we always go outside to play!

Our class took a field trip to a pumpkin farm!  We got to pick out a pumpkin of our own to bring home!

I like to show off my fashion choices at school and some days (especially football Fridays), I like to show off my Clemson spirit!

In Pre-K, we have job assignments each week.  One week I was responsible for updating the calendar each day!

Soccer Season!

Soccer season started!  But it wasn't just me that played this season...

Clara played too!  She was excited to try on her uniform and cleats!

It was hot to start the season - cooling towels were needed!

Clara was quite the soccer player - she's super fast and stays in the mix to get the ball!

I played on a more competitive league this year with 1st and 2nd graders!  I've learned a lot but still trying to figure out if it's the right fit for me!

Here I am hustling for the ball in one of our practice games!

And here's Clara showing her skills!
