Al Fresco Dining!

I have become a big fan of eating my meals outside.  Something about that fresh air!

This was in Destin when I wanted to eat outside every meal - even if I was by myself!

And sometimes at home I want to eat outside, too!

I got a big surprise one day when I came home to find out we are getting a screened in porch!  I'm going to be able to eat outside all the time when it's done!

To get ready for the screened in porch, Mom, Clara and I bought a table at IKEA.  Mom was pushing Clara so I had to help push the cart with the table.  Dad put the table together for me and I had to try it out right away!  Later, we moved it closer to the regular dining table to I could still sit at my table and be near everyone else.

Smiles and Cheeks!

Mom is still having lots of fun dressing me up in my cute clothes!  Although I'm pretty sure my cheeks and smile help with the cuteness factor!

Grandma B got me some new, colorful headbands!

Mom and I were playing on the floor and taking some selfies!

Mom snuck this picture when I wasn't looking...good thing I look so sweet asleep!

Sibling Love!

Clara and I really do love each other lots!  I'm a pretty good big brother to her and I like her because she always thinks I'm funny!  I don't like it too much when she tries to grab my toys though.  Or when she pulls my hair!  When she does that I say "help please" to Mom so she can make Clara let go!

We played with Clara's toy for a little bit and then I showed her how my toys work...

We have a new stroller that we can both ride in (comfortably) -  it even fits through door ways!  No more sitting on the foot support part of the Bob stroller for me!

Clara likes to be pushed in my car!  I had to show her how the key works...

Sometimes Clara's toys are more fun than mine!

I don't like rainy days because that means we don't get to go outside at school.  But the bright side of that is that I get to see Clara often when we play inside in the atrium.

Brothers don't shake hands...Brother (and sister) gotta hug!

I wanted to help out so decided to read Clara a story...

Here's a video of me reading the story to Clara...

And here's another video...we were supposed to be napping!  Mom hasn't learned that it just doesn't work that way - we have too much fun to intentionally miss out on together time!

Waterplay!

Over the summer my class at school had "waterplay" every Wednesday!  I was one of the babies that really liked it!  It started with our teachers just spraying our legs with a spray bottle, but by the end of the summer we had graduated to our "pool"!

No swimsuit this day - just chilling in the chair with my hat!

Splash splash splash!

Pretty sure this is the true definition of "baby pool"!  I'm with my friends Ansley and Laura.

This obviously wasn't at school, but I even relax in the water in a big pool!

Waterplay is over, so now my teacher has to come up with other things to keep us entertained.  She doesn't have to get too creative since a cardboard box does the trick!

Months 5 and 6!

My monthly photo shoots have become a family affair!  Apparently someone else likes to cheese it up in front of the camera, too!

Here I am at 5 months!

And here's Owen getting his camera time!

And here I am at 6 months!  My big accomplishment is that I can sit all by myself!  I compared my stats with Owen's 6 month stats and I'm a little more that 2 pounds lighter and an inch shorter.  I've got some catching up to do!

Here's Owen striking a pose!

Can you guess who was in charge of getting me to smile for the pictures?  I couldn't help myself - he is just too funny!

More 4th of July Fun!

During our long holiday weekend over the 4th of July, we did even more fun things!

We were supposed to go bowling but the wait was too long so we did the next best thing - video games!  Dad tried to help me but I didn't need him to - I did it all by myself!

We also took Clara to the zoo for the first time!  The elephant was doing some tricks for us and I got to feed a giraffe!

I showed Clara how to brush the goats - she just wanted to grab their hair!

And of course we all took a train ride!  Just Dad and I got to ride the carousal.  I promise I had just as much fun on the train as I did on the carousal!

I've been to the zoo lots but this was the first time I got to play in the splash pad!  I'm glad I got to because it was so hot outside!  Mom, Dad and Clara looked jealous (and hot)!

Here I am having fun at the splash pad!

Batter Up!

Dad had a surprise for me one day last month - we went to Toys R Us and I got to pick out my very own baseball tee and bat!  I'm a baseball fan since I've been to the Braves game - but it still doesn't come close to my love of construction vehicles these days.  I like to swing the bat lots, but it's only okay to do that outside apparently...

See how much of a Braves baseball fan I am?  And Clara, too!

Not sure why Clara looks so nervous in these pictures...

Here I am in action playing baseball!

4th of July!

We had a good 4th of July!  We had an extra two days of no school so that we could celebrate the holiday right!  We may have worn Mom and Dad out - I heard them talking about being excited to go back to work...

Here we are in our 4th of July outfits - thanks Aunt Noreen!

We started the day at a parade.  Unfortunately I still haven't seen a parade because it ended up being cancelled due to the rain.  Maybe the next holiday I'll get to figure out what a parade is...

We all wore our red, white and blue!

After the parade that didn't happen we went to get coffee with Grandma and Grandpa Young.  I ate all of Grandpa's snacks that he got from running the Peachtree race!

Later in the day we went over to their house that is near Marietta square.  I got to go "swimming" - not a bath - to cool off!

That night we got to stay up way past our bedtime to see fireworks!  Neither of us were scared, although I'm not a fan of firework noise when I can't see them - they are too loud!

Here's a fun video of me having fun waiting on the parade (before we found out it was cancelled)!  I don't need a parade to have a good time - a puddle of water will do!
