Go Tigers!

This year is my 3rd Clemson Tigers football season!  I've gone to one game so far this season.  Clara hasn't gone to a game yet, but she will next month!

We made sure to wear our Clemson gear to school on the Friday before the first game!

Before the game we tailgated and looked who we got to see?  Connor!

Here we are at the game!  It was hot but not as hot as it has been at other games I've been to!  Sunglasses were a must!

After the game I found some cool vehicles. I just had to touch them, even though Mom wouldn't let me sit in them. There were lots of them - I made sure to touch them ALL!

Wearing my Clemson shirts gets me in the spirit!  I think the sunglasses are a nice touch...

Growing Up Too!

Clara's not the only one growing up these days!  If you ask me how old I am, I'll tell you two and a half.  Mom tells me now that I need to start saying almost three.  I'm in a new class at school (pre-pre-school) and we have jobs in that class.  Some weeks I'm the meal helper and some weeks I'm the line leader.  I'm also still an excellent big brother (even though I don't want Clara near my toys most of the time)!  I'm a chatterbox too - I surprise Mom and Dad just about everyday with a new word or phrase I've learned!

Dad took me to a new place for a haircut - it was much better than at school!  And what happens after being good for a haircut?  You get cake of course!

Mom took me to the library for the first time.  We took home some books and I hung out doing puzzles for a little bit.

Here I am being a good big brother!

It took a couple visits to Landon's house, but I've got the car figured out now and can drive it all by myself.  It's serious business driving around...especially when there's a cute girl in the car!  And I'm a pro at making coffee!  Grandpa Mark's coffee is on the left and Grandma B's coffee is on the right!

Here I am in action driving the car around!

Growing Up!

I know Mom and Dad aren't crazy about it, but I'm growing up!  Owen doesn't mind too much because it just means he doesn't have to be as careful with me.  So part of my growing up is just necessary self-defense against an older brother!

I already have my picture posing down!

First, I got really good at sitting.  Mom is very jealous of my perfect posture!

Then I figured out how to get up on my knees!

It didn't take much longer after that and I was off crawling!

And then standing all by myself while holding on to something!  Paul thought it was pretty funny!  And now I can even pull myself up (check out the video of me in action)!

And I'm definitely mastering the whole eating thing!  I eat breakfast and lunch at school off of the menu now.  I mostly use my fingers but sometimes a spoon is needed.  And I said I was mastering the eating - not being neat and clean about it...

Mom hasn't been able to sneak a picture yet, but I have teeth now, too!  I have 2 bottom ones and 1 or 2 coming in on the top.  They don't know for sure because I bit Dad's finger when he was trying to figure out how many there are!  Oops!

Here's an action shot of my early crawling days!  It should be mentioned that Dad lowered my crib down that next day!

And here I am pulling myself up!  You may have to watch this one twice since Owen tries to steal the show from me!

In addition to my moving and eating, I've also become quite the talker (or yeller).  Not surprising if you know my Dad...

Tie-Dye!

When I was in Hilton Head, I did an activity where I got to make a tie-dye shirt.  I actually made 2 for me plus one for Clara!  I would wear those shirts everyday if Mom and Dad would let me!  Clara and I wore our shirts on the same day to show them off!

Months 7 and 8!

My big accomplishment in Month 7 was becoming a big eater of real food!

I was so cute that Mom wanted to take pictures two different days!

My big accomplishment in Month 8 was crawling!!  More to come on that later (with videos of course!)
Don't I just have the perfect posture?

And here are the outtake pictures with Owen from the photo shoots - it's a regular thing now!

Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike!

Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike came to visit Clara and I!  It was a fun visit.  Grandpa stayed for a couple of days and then he had to head home, but Grandma stayed for longer.  I wasn't feeling very good one day and there was nothing better than snuggling with Grandma on the couch when I stayed home from school (and watching some Curious George)!  Clara and I took turns the other days staying home with them.

We did some fun things!  One day we went to Catch Air and I rode down the big slide lots of times.  We also went to the park and went bowling!

This is the best we could do for both of us getting a picture with Grandma and Grandpa!  Grandpa was heading to the airport and Clara was going to school.  Grandma and I were ready for our day of hanging out together!

Bathtime!

I get to take baths in the big tub now!  And sometimes I even get to take baths with Owen!

Look at how good I am at splashing around!
