Swimming!

It was my turn to take swim lessons over the summer!  I'm not joining any swim teams after my few lessons, but it helped me be a little more comfortable in the water!

I got to practice blowing bubbles and splashing!  My favorite was practicing my kicks while playing "red light, green light"!

I also practiced using my arms and legs to swim!

Here I am using my arms to swim and blowing bubbles!

Summer!

When Pre-K was done, my summer officially began!  Instead of Pre-K, I went to camp at GP for Kids everyday.  Pretty much like Pre-K but more play time and field trips!

During one of my first weeks of summer, I went to Teasley Kindergarten camp!  I got to meet some other kids that will be new kindergartners like me!  We learned our way around the school and met some of the teachers too.

One day after the Teasley camp, Dad and I went to Six Flags and role some roller coasters!  I got a Poop emoji hat, too!

With summer comes our little pool on the back porch!  We're growing up - swimsuits for everyone!

We went to one of the Smyrna Concert on the Green events with our friends Bob and Blake!

One of the field trips we went on was to Southern Belle Farm - we got to see some animals, play on a playground and pick strawberries!

ATL United!

We got to go to the new stadium and watch an Atlanta United game!  We even had fancy suite tickets since Mom and Dad got the tickets through work.  We made sure to stop at the store so we could all wear ATL United gear!

The new stadium was awesome!

I was pretty into the game!  It was even better because the United won!

The excitement of the game eventually wore off and we started focusing on popcorn and water bottles!

We hung out a little after the game to celebrate the win!

Owen wanted to get in on the fun and photobombed us!

Beach Trip...or Not!

For the fourth year in a row, we went to the beach in Florida with all of our friends for the Memorial Day holiday!  This year we went to a beach house on St George Island.  The weather forecast didn't look great but we thought we might just have to deal with a few thunderstorms.  We were wrong!  Tropical Storm Alberto had other plans - we had to evacuate the island less than 24 hours after we got there (and unpacked everything)!  A fire truck drove down the main street to let us know we had to go and then all the grown ups raced around to repack everything!  I was busy playing hide and seek with my friends!  But we made the most our of our short time there!

We might have forgotten the kitchen sink...

First order of business when we got there was to check out the pool!

After dinner the first (and only) night there, we went for a walk on the beach!  The waves were pretty big so we didn't go into the water too far (plus we didn't have swim suits)!

Luckily, Ms Blake brought her camera to the beach that night so we were able to get one group beach picture!

The next morning we got to the beach early to make sure we got in a little beach time before the rain!
Of course time for beach pictures!  Even though Mom's camera got a little steamy...

The best picture we got of us kids this year!  4 years of us together at the beach!  We were missing Tyler and Emme though - they had a different family trip they went on this year.

Clara was busy doing her own thing so didn't want to squeeze into a picture with us!

Clara was much more interested in playing in the sand - she wasn't a fan of the big waves!

But I was!

We made sure we had fun during our short time at the beach!

The sand was blowing pretty badly at the beach so we headed back to the house to get a little pool time!

We played a fun game of "catch the football"!

One last group picture...in the rain...as we were leaving!  :(

Mom and Dad surprised us on the drive back and stopped at Chuck E Cheese for dinner!  That was definitely a fun way to get out of the car and stretch our legs!

Pre-K Graduation!

My Pre-K class had a big event to celebrate all the hard work we put into the year and also to say good bye to our teachers and friends!  We got to invite our families to the celebration, too!
It was actually we week-long celebration and we got to wear different outfits each day of the week.  One day was pajama day and this is what I wore!

Here was our class picture!  We had a fun Pre-K class!

Grandma B and Grandpa Mark came to the celebration with Mom!  (Dad had a trip so he had to see the videos)

Here's some of my best buddies - Spencer, Elliott, Henry and James.  We are all going on to Kindergarten!

We had a big cake to celebrate!  I had 2 pieces of course!

I had some great Pre-K teachers!  Ms Jaelyn was awesome and so was Mr Jerrell!  Ms Michaela was one of our floater teachers and she's known me for years!

This is 5 of our "Boys Club"!  Ayden moved away in pre-school, but Spencer, Elliott, Henry, Miles and I stayed the best of friends through Pre-K.  We'll all be at different kindergartens (well, except for Spencer and Elliott) so hopefully we can keep having play dates and stay friends!

Here we were 3 years earlier when we were almost 3!  We were friends even before this - since we were babies!  But this is when the Boys Club really started - it was just the 6 of us in the Transitions class to start!

Here I am getting my Pre-K diploma!  I graduated!

It wouldn't be much of a celebration without a singing performance!  We practiced for weeks on this song!

And here was one more song we performed!  There might have been some tears from the Moms and Dads in the audience!
