Tiny Ballerina!

I finished up my dance season with a recital in the auditorium!  We practiced very hard for the performance!

We got roses from our parents after the performance! 

Mom was the only one who could make the performance in person, but she took video for everyone else!

Kindergarten Awards!

When we got back from our trip to see our cousins, I wrote a journal entry for school about my trip!

 

Before the end of the school year, my class had an awards ceremony!  Mom and Clara came to the class to watch (Dad had to go on a trip).

Here I am getting one of my awards!  Mrs Wager was my teacher and Ms Z was my assistant teacher! 

The 3 Musketeers Award was for working so well with my classmates!  And Silver Honor Roll was for earning all 3's and 2's on my report card! 

Mrs Wager gave the Citizenship Award to one boy and one girl in the class - guess who the boy was who received the award?!  And I also received an award for listening well and following directions! 

I received 4 awards!

Cousin Visit!

We took a family trip to Kansas City!  Mom and Dad went to a friend's wedding while we were there, but most of our time was spent with our cousins!  And Uncle Dan and Aunt Laura!  One night, Uncle Dan and Aunt Laura took on getting all 5 kids to bed!  The next night they had reinforcements because Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike came into town for a visit!

We made ourselves at home pretty quickly!

While we were there, we went to a children's museum and got to see lots of cool stuff!

We learned about things but got to play, too!

Afterwards, we went out to eat for lunch!

Then we explored one of the downtown parks!  

The 3 taco heads helped Aunt Laura shop for Wiley's birthday party!

Our cousins had a really cool playground by their house that we visited!  I climbed up the giant rock lots of times!

Clara even climbed up the giant rock!  

More playtime with Wylie and Brooke!  We had so much fun with out cousins!

Mom got the best Mother's Day gift from us!  She got to fly home by herself with us!

Tae Kwon Do!

I've been taking Tae Kwon Do lessons for several months now!  I enjoy the classes but mostly because my neighbor Mila does it, too.  I have learned some cool moves though!

Here's my first belt ceremony!  I had to demonstrate to the instructors that I had learned all of the moves.

And here I am at my second belt ceremony!  I learned even more moves!

Here I am sparring with another classmate!  I got some good jabs and kicks in!

And here's one of my belt tests with all of the moves I've been learning and practicing!

More Soccer!

It was a great soccer season and I'm really liking playing soccer!

My school had a mother-son night and Mom talked me into doing the photo booth.  I picked soccer for the background of course!

Dad was a great coach and it was a lot of fun having so many teammates from my school!

It took until the last game of the season, but Clara made a friend with one of the other younger sisters!
