Pajama Day!

We had a holiday celebration at school and the best part was that I got to wear my pajamas to school!  It was just a treat though - I can't wear them to school everyday...  But that doesn't stop me from trying!

Clara didn't have Christmas pajamas so she wore one of her Christmas shirts.

Clara didn't do much signing at the holiday celebration - she had more fun listening and then exploring the decorations afterwards!

After the singing (which I didn't do either), my friends and I posed for a picture in front of the decorations in our pajamas (we were just missing Miles).

Warm December!

We had some warm weather in December and tried to make the most of it, even though Dad was out of town!

I went to my friend Henry's birthday party - I think I would have been better off (and less sweaty) if I wore short sleeves.  But either way I was worn out!

We went to Marietta Square and saw Grandma B and Grandpa Mark.  We almost got to see Santa, but the line was too long.  Apparently, everyone else had the same idea...

We got to eat lunch out on the porch - and didn't even have to wear all our clothes!

Mom was brave and took us both with her to Publix for the first time.  I got to show Clara how to steer the cart!  I got a cookie, but Clara didn't because she's too little...

While we had a good weekend, it wasn't a good Monday when Dad got back in town.  Before Mom took us to school, she made sure Clara and I gave Paul a big hug.  She said that he was going to have to go to the doctor again and he might not be able to come home.  Unfortunately he didn't - Mom explained that he died like the fish at my school.  (But Paul didn't go down the toilet like the fish).  I miss Paulie and still include him when I list out my family members.  We have lots of good memories to remember Paul!

Bobby the Elf!

In December, we had a visitor at our house.  He came to the house one night and then stayed until Christmas.  He would watch Clara and I during the day to make sure we were being good and then he would go to the North Pole at night to give Santa his report.  Of course both of us are always good!  I got to pick his name - Bobby the Elf!  He was a silly elf!  I had fun every morning finding his new hiding spot!

One night, Bobby got all of my tigers together for a party!  I couldn't join the party though - I might break the rule of not touching him.  We couldn't touch Bobby because he's magical!

One night he stacked up some clementines.  And another night he was playing around with the toilet paper roll!  Silly Bobby!

Clara and Grandma B wanted to be like Bobby the Elf and wore matching hats!

Parade Time!

Clara and I got to go to our first parade before Christmas!  It was the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta parade.  We saw lots of floats, cars, bands and huge balloons!  And at the very end, we got to see Santa!

The sun was out but it was still a little chilly!

Here were some of the huge balloons we got to see!

And one of my favorite floats - a real monster truck!  His name was Gunslinger!

Go Tigers!

After all of the regular Clemson games, they went to the ACC Championship.  Mom and Dad didn't go to the game, but they made sure I represented Clemson every day that week at school!  I think I did a good job!  Well, I must have since they won!

Bows are key to making sure I don't look like a boy!

Who says you can't wear pink and a sweater to cheer on the Tigers?

Owen wore his Clemson shirt to school one of the days, too!

Family Pictures!

What would Thanksgiving be without a bunch of family pictures?!

Here we all are at our Thanksgiving dinner!

Grandma B got us all matching flannel shirts for our pictures.  I was a good sport and wore mine since everyone else was!

My family is just silly!

I didn't quite understand this picture but I stood where they told me to...  Everyone else thought it was pretty funny!

After a long day of pictures, sometimes it's just nice to snuggle on the couch!

Paul's Thanksgiving!

A little before Thanksgiving Paul started to get sick - Mom and Dad had to take him to the doctor several times.  Mom and Dad said he might not be able to come to another Thanksgiving so we had to make this one special for him!  The weather definitely helped - it was Paul's favorite!  Cool weather, but not too cold and lots of sun to lay out on the porch and enjoy!  He never seemed too hungry, but we made sure he got to eat some good Thanksgiving food!

We made sure to include Paul in our family photo!

He spent lots of time inside with us - mostly staying out of the way of Clara and I though!  Paul was good about sharing (or letting us consume) the attention!

He went on walks and laid outside to enjoy the fresh air!

Paul still wanted to be leader of the pack on our walks - even when I was going fast on my bike!

I think this was Paul's favorite though - the sunny porch times!

Or maybe this - getting some petting from Grandma B and sunny porch time!

Paul and Dad got some quality time together too!  Paul even explored the train tracks like the rest of us!
